Spent the weekend in Reno and my amazing husband found this delicious spot for brunch. We shared a pumpkin waffle, which btw was presented beautifully and made sharing easy. The waffle was cooked to perfection, topped with a perfectly whipped pumpkin cream cheese frosting and served with hot syrup and a side of pepitos. Hadn’t been there in over a year. We were initially seated in a ‘hallway’ near the kitchen. Dingy and very unattractive! Asked to move to the porch as the outdoor seating was closed. Heaters were blasting so we asked to have them turned down. Food was very average and quite pricey. ‘Homemade’ corn chip appetizer was fried corn tortilla chips and hardly homemade. Just wanted you to know how much we enjoy having lunch with you for the past 4 years around the 10th of October in your garden. We come from Citrus Heights Ca and Clear Lake Ca every year to celebrate a dear friend from Reno on her birthday. This year you let me take a couple of stems of your beautiful coleus. They made it back to Clear Lake and have roots already. I’ll let you know next October how well they grew. Thank you and see you next year.
