BEST KOREAN FOOD IN TOWN!!!!! With Soju on my mind and 2ne1 blasting through my stereo, I quickly realized my soul was empty and needed to be rejuvenated with something yummy. I thought long and hard about what was missing in my life, and then like a bolt of lightning I stopped what I was doing, grabbed the love of my life and went straight to the Tofu House. I have heard rumors of such cuisine now being offered in the Great City of Reno but I needed to investigate thoroughly and responsibly. Following my heart, we arrived at the Tofu House. There are no words that can truly describe my experience. Truly delicious and magical. Anything from the tofu soups to the noodle dishes. All so good! The Korean fried chicken would have to be one of my Favs! Service was also on point as well. I recommend getting the barley tea with your meal! you wont regret it. Foodie J Umami Scale 4.6/5! Also the bathrooms are built for giants. The urinal is pretty high so if peeing is your thing then the stall is the best option for people under 6 feet tall.

Great place for Korean food. We've never had a bad experience and have been going regularly for months. Highly recommended. Soups are great. BBQ is delicious. Fried chicken is so crispy. Try it all.

Tofu House has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Reno at the moment. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. And the beer is cold. What else can you ask for?

I've been looking forward to coming back to Tofu House for some time. Favorites: -Japchae noodles--excellent both as an entree and to share with friends -hot stone bibimbap--delicious any time -tofu soup with dumplings--ideal on a cold day

Came here today after a 4 hour hike by Truckee river today. We are very Tired and cold so we decided to come here and check out the place for the very first time. It wasn't busy so we got in right away. Anyways it was very good experience, food was very good here ..I like the Beef tofu soup with Egg .. it's my first time here So that's what I ordered. My kids love their food also . It was very satisfying, I definitely come back again. Not much On the kids menu. The price are little expensive for small bowl of soup, but that's ok.il come back again someday when I'm in the area,

If you are looking for Asian, The Tofu House is the place to go. You get seated quickly. The tables around the window are darker areas, but the middle of the restaurant are well lit. They give you 1 refill on side dishes. Watch out if you need extra rice. They do charge for more rice to eat with your meal. Tonight they were busy. Standing room only, they do try and turn the tables over as quick as possible.

I am giving 2 because: 1. Our party of 4 came earlier but they gave seats to a party of 10 first because they were a party of 10. I notice a couple was waiting before us but the larger parties get to sit before them. 2. The food was tasteless. The seafood pancake was tasteless ... the beef stone rice bowl was tasteless. 3. They don't offer a lot of sides compared to other Korean restaurants I've been to.

Would be nice if we could have had some service. Waited five mins without anyone acknowledging us. Flagged someone down and asked to be put on the list. She said "I don't know, let me ask." What the heck? You don't know?

Have been looking for good soondoobu ( soft tofu soup ) for a while in Reno. This place has it. Very delicious and one of my favorites and comes out boiling which is perfect to crack an egg in to. You can choose different spice levels to match your taste for the tofu soup. They also have a good beef bulgogi which is pretty good. This is not an all you can eat Korean BBQ place. Cozy restaurant by the Atlantis.

3 simple words brought us to Tofu House: Korean. Fried. Chicken! That's the KFC for me, baby! No disrespect to tofu, but we're here for the chicken. The dining room is pleasant and our server was friendly, and they have a simple menu featuring all the things we've come to love about Korean food. Hubby and I shared a pork soft tofu stew, and of course, ordered some fried chicken. The soft tofu stew was delish, and really hits the spot with all this rainy weather we've had. The banchan was tasty and lovely as well. The chicken was really what we came for. I was disappointed they only had 1 sauce - sweet n spicy, because I was craving some garlic soy, but the sauce was OK. The chicken was pretty good, a few pieces seemed randomly chopped, like a drumstick in 1/2 to make it appear like more chicken. To be honest, it was a bit smaller portion than I expected for $22.99, I mean, that's not cheap chicken! Think Napa portions at Vegas prices...but hey, that's Reno, baby! At least we have a Korean fried chicken option in Reno, even if it's a little spendy!

Came here for lunch today on a company sponsored lunch. We were allowed to fax in our order the day before (yesterday), so that it would be ready when we arrived. Within minutes of everyone sitting down, our nice waitress started to bring out the orders. We ordered the following: Hot Stone Bibimbap x2 Beef Soft Tofu Soup, Spicy 2 Beef Bulgogi BBQ x3 Ddeokbokki Spam & Kimchi Soft Tofu Soup, Spicy (4+) Spicy Pork Bulgogi BBQ (Mine) jjamppong/champpong All of the orders were correct, and cooked to perfection. I still enjoy watching people order the tofu soup and not knowing what to do with the egg, and once they know what to do, the look on their faces as they watch it cook in their soup. Thank you to the Tofu house for accommodating our larger group and still providing great food and service! Not everyone in our group had tried Korean food before, some of them enjoyed the food and would come back, while others didn't feel that they would return. I for one will continue to came here! In fact, since I came without my wife, I am sure that she and I will be back here in the very near future.

Usually during dinner here I end up saying that this is my favorite restaurant in Reno. Super intense flavors and maybe the best fried rice ever. Have fun!
