Food was good. Maybe the server didnt like us because she ignored us much of the evening. We had to ask multiple times for our quail egg shooters, and still never received them. Aside from that, the food was great and the atmosphere was nice.

Love the food and service was great. The atmosphere wasn't even really their fault. Tons of kids and due to the acoustic of the room, every child could be heard all at once. Again, not really their fault but very distracting and loud.

We love Umi, we come here once a week and have NEVER had a negative experience. The rolls are smaller which is perfect for all you can eat, there is a lot of variety on the menu and you don’t get full off a single roll like at other places that use so much rice. The nigiri is always great and the appetizers are amazing. Umi is our go to sushi place for the last 2 years, we’re so glad we found them. I always recommend!

Excellent ayce sushi. We really enjoyed the way they make their rolls smaller than the average sushi roll- less rice more fish for a really convenient way to enjoy them. The Nigiri was made the same way. Every roll or Nigiri we ordered was filled with fresh fish and made fast. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the great service.

Service is ok but it makes me want to cry that they charge so much for so little. I don’t want to spend over 50 dollars for the smallest sushi portion I have EVER seen while I sit in the tiniest chairs/table. Overpriced af

Love how their rolls were sliced very thin. Everything was melt in your mouth delicious. The tuna with Cajun seasoning was chefs kiss. Service was excellent, all of the wait staff was pleasant, checked in often . They very extremely efficient. Best sushi in Reno.

This is probably my new favorite sushi place. My boss told me about Umi and how tiny their rolls are! They really are little, and it's so nice because instead of only being able to order 2 rolls at a regular sushi restaurant, you can order 4 or 5 here. And all the rolls were really yummy too! Only complaint was that our waiter wasn't the best. And there were coconut flakes in my tempura banana 🥺
