I was so excited to be at Un Caffe again that I completely forgot to take pictures of our food. Please forgive me, I promise to take some during my next visit. My daughter and I used to frequent Un Caffé at their old location in South Reno, so we were both thrilled to see that they were reopening at their new location on Moana Lane. My daughter and I both enjoyed a lovely beet salad and my boyfriend ordered the chicken salad sandwich with house made chips. Great flavors, very friendly owners, clean spacious dining area... we loved it. I missed the soup though which was (a bit of drama here) devastating. Ok, maybe not devastating, but I was looking forward to that soup! Wednesday's the soup of the day is a Carmelized Onion Voulette; a rich, creamy, savory but slightly sweet soup that feels so velvety and smooth on your tongue. I've waited a long time to taste this soup again...I shall return on another Wednesday, and likely a few more shortly after to order some of this delicious liquid delight to-go. Thank you Chef Cheri for a lovely lunch!

Could be the best tomato soup I have ever had! The chicken salad sandwich was fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

Un Caffe is a secret gem for real deal Italian food like I grew up with in NJ 15 minutes outside of NYC. Chef Cheri makes it just like my mother does who is from Italy. We had the meatball sandwich (best on the west IMO), chicken salad sandwich, and the dinner for 4 - eggplant parm. Her sauce is deep, slow cooked, and the combination of ingredients and flavors make it 5 star. West coast Italian food is much different than what we had and this place is like going home. Even the homemade potato chips and Caesar salad are tops! I no longer have to cook my Italian food anymore :) Tell them I sent you. They keep different hours much like we do at Smiling with Hope pizzeria.

This is a cute little place. Small inside, with limited seating. The menu is pretty limited. I wish they had a sandwich with small salad option. The meatball sandwich was good.

Had my heart set on picking up a meatball sandwich for the hubby, and oh so glad I did, while the hubby waited in the car! Unfortunately, it was still on the breakfast menu, so I had to meekly ask if I could get the meatball sandwich. The chips were light and crispy too! Yeah! The chef said, just this one time. It was 10:35 so, to me I wasn't that off on lunch time... Also bought a ranger cookie, and a few biscotti! Sandwich and meatballs were really good! Just wished they had Dutch crunch or fresh baked bread... Still will come back to try breakfast and other sandwiches!

The cookie (called a Ranger) was also very good. I didn't have the biscottis that she also bought but I'll save those for my coffee. I'll be back to try their other menu items.

A friend and I went for lunch, we had paninis, prosciutto and melon & Reuben pastrami, it came with homemade potato chips! The food was very good, fresh and tasty, just enough portion. We also shared a bowl of clam chowder! One on the best I've ever had! Then limoncello for dessert, it was perfect! Not too sweet, good tart and delicious! Service was superb and the overall ambience of the restaurant was relaxing, very chill and vibrant! Will definitely come back and try dinner menu!
