Great place to grab a delicious margarita and some food! Make a reservation because they tend to get busy quick!
We had dinner a bit late at night, and I'm uncertain if we have any leftovers from the day. However, we all got sick after ordering different dishes, so I wouldn't recommend it.
It's filling Mexican-ish food with a lot of salt. But the drinks and chips and salsa are good. Mains were okay. Nothing to rush out to try but acceptable when you're at the casino.
Our waiter didn't have a clue and kept interrupting us. Best of all he told us we missed the two for one maggies by 2 minutes. But we still got the over sweet 2 for 1 dri nks at full price. Very little tequila. The food was poor quality gringo mex. Nothing with spices or flavor. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised considering it is in a casino in Reno. Besides poor service bad drinks and food the music is too lound to talk. Don't bother with stopping here
Eaten many times. Food was good and service attentive but even though we flagged a gueat birthday to host and also when we made a reservation, we didn't receive any birthday dessert.
Great place for Mexican food I eat here 3 nights in a row & loved everything everytime truly!! However paid $15 for 1 margarita during happy hour where it’s 2 for $4 lol. Guess I should have ordered another one to waste so I don’t pay $15 for 1 aye?!😂 great food, but not the most love. Cheers
Food was salty, they offered to switch order but I choice not to, would try again and order something else.
Loud to a point of can't have a conversation. Lightning is extremely bright. Service good but drinks arrived 30 seconds before dinner. Food is just not hot! Line cooking doesn't work for this place. Off my list.
We always enjoy Uno Mas!! The food is so consistent and delicious! The staff is very friendly and always attentive! Favorite place to eat at the Grand Sierra!
Our server Dolan was phenomenal! He was probably one of the best servers I have ever had...made our evening! We told his manager as well. Attentive, friendly, and polite...terrific can-do attitude and ubiquitous smile!
Restaurantji Recommends
Not sure if it was the acoustics or what but was SO loud in there could hardly have a conversation. 2 out of 3 meals were very good the fish tacos (fried) were almost burnt and the color made me wonder if the oil was sorry. Hardly any coleslaw or sauce, they were not good.
This restaurant was amazing! Lobster Fajitas were delicious and so were the Queso Birria Tacos. Our waiter was wonderful and we wil definitely be back next time we're in Reno.
I have to agree with the other reviews. Food was average and the service was okay. The salsa needed some additional salt. It's always tough to review mexican restaurants since were from Tucson. I'd probably recommend one of the other options at the GSR.
I'm not sure why the rating is lower, but as someone who's very picky about food, location, cleanliness, and taste, I’d rate my dine in experience a solid 4-star experience. The food portions were generous and served hot, which my family really enjoyed. My husband's beer was ice-cold, and my frozen margarita was delicious. Overall, a great dining experience!
We had two very good plates of food. I had the carne asada burrito and my wife had lobster enchiladas.
