Nice place to stop for Pho, people were nice and the interior was a bit dark but clean. Not the best pho in town, but pretty

12.14.23: Met Ma for lunch at her favorite pho spot as I was craving some hot soup in the cold weather. I ordered pho with steak, flank, tendon, and tripe, 1 spring roll, and a BBQ pork bahn mi sandwich. I had traditional hot jasmine tea as my beverage of choice. The broth of the pho is what makes the soup as well as the fresh fixings and toppings that accompany it. The bean sprouts are a fav and give the soup that good crunch.Normally an order of spring rolls comes with 2 rolls. I like how Viet Pho gives the option of ordering just 1 roll. The rice paper was fresh and not dry or hard nor was the shrimp fishy, so that's a plus. The peanut sauce was plentiful and yummy and like how they top it with chopped peanuts for added crunch. My only complaint is the sauce was cold. I could have asked to have it warmed up but I didn't, so that's my fault. The BBQ pork bahn mi sandwich was sooo good! My favorite of course is the homemade fresh bread. Richard, the owner, spent time and lived in Italy when he was younger and learned to make bread. His bread is amazing and yummy. The pork was tender and the carrot and pickled onion give it it's nice crunch. The fresh jalapeno slices give it that heat to complete the sandwich. There's so much on the menu that anyone can find something they'll like and if you're adventurous, try something new. You never know you might find a new favorite dish!

They brought the fried chicken out raw. When I showed it to the owner, she said"I can see that drum is raw but check the wings, u can eat it." Then she offered to throw it in the microwave.. on top of that it seemed like there were drunk in the back working.. and there was a relative or something probably early twenty female with a nose ring mocking my one year old daughter for calling out for her daddy. Felt pretty disrespected... and to top it off their prices are pretty high. I don't recommend this place.

I ordered the combination pho, and the meatball was rancid! The ingredients were definitely not fresh. The broth was not even hot but warm and didn't cook the raw thin slice in the pho. Would not recommend.

This place is the real deal. I have been several times and the pho broth is perfect and noodles were tender. Just the right amount of flavor. Family owned restaurant. Please vote with your dollars at this establishment.

while at the convention my bf was craving pho and this was the only pho place close by to walk to, 10-15 minute walk however it took us longer because it's a busy street to safely cross without a crosswalk. upon entering it had a chill vibe to the place, dim lights and was playing classical music on the tv.the service here was amazing, the waitress was very patient in assisting us, bringing out chili oil and even giving us a taste of their thai chili pepper to try (it wasn't that hot to us but maybe it's because we always eat spicy food and build a tolerance to it lol). this place has the best bun bo hue i've had so far! most bun bo hue places that i go to here in ca make their broth too fishy for me. as for the pho it was good as well, my bf enjoyed it and said it was better than the pho place we usually go to.

Ordered the duck pho, the most expensive thing on the menu, and it tasted like it had soap in it. I took one bite and sent it back. The manager still charged me for half because "it's expensive ingredients." If the ingredients are so expensive, maybe wash your dishes properly so they don't taste like soap. Won't be going back. "Famous egg rolls" were also pretty sub-standard. Basically spent $20 on 3 okay-ish egg rolls and a bite of soapy duck pho with more bone than meat. Do yourself a favor, find the next place.

I’ve been going to Viet Pho since they had one in Carson City several years ago. Went here again last week. They never disappoint.

Excellent PHO! I've eaten pho and Vietnamese food in many places! Including Vietnam. This place has excellent quality and affordable prices. And the staff is impeccably polite. It's also very clean and I recommend this place 100%!

So authentic and yummy! They are busy so you know it's good. Their signature bahn mi sandwich was amazing. The pho broth was good. Really good spring rolls as well. The dumplings were delightful. My favorite was the sandwich. I will return ?Kid-friendliness: They have a child size pho.Wheelchair accessibility: It is all tables so it can accommodate wheelchairs.

I initially went to another pho rest down the street. It showed open on google but upon arrival it was closed which made me pivot to come here. I didn’t have high hopes being that the reviews were not the best. I came in for lunch and ordered acchicken pho. I asked if it came with white meat because I don’t eat dark meat and the waitress confirmed that it does. I didn’t want to order any speciality drinks and assumed water is a standard that should be served. When the waitress came back and asked if I wanted to order anything to drink I said just water. After about 10 mins of waiting for my pho to come out I still did not get my water. While that’s not what I feel is worth sharing is, the broth was terrible. The bowl was filled with noodles and the pho came with dark chicken meat and cabbage.I’m Vietnamese and have ordered a good share of pho and never have had that as part of my soup. I was really disappointed to where I got up and left. I was waiting for cashier to ring me up which was also my waitress. She asked if everything was ok and I said no for the above reasons. I didn’t have more than one bite because it was that awful.I don’t want to give this place a bad review but it’s not deserving of a good one. I’ll be kind to give it 3 stars but will not be coming back nor recommend this place.
