If you enjoy paying $19.00 to $26.00 for a single shot of good, but not great, Scotch then this is the place for you. I don't know when these astronomical prices became the NEW NORMAL, but I'm opting out. Whisky Lounge has a kind of cool vibe and they certainly do have a large selection to choose from and this is the kind of place that I would like visit often, but the price to value ratio is just not there for me.

My second time at The Whiskey Lounge. I love this place. Earlier this year we had a nice experience and vowed to return. It took longer than we planned but tonight was fantastic. Russ was behind the bar and his recommendations and knowledge of whiskey made the evening a treat. Planning a return visit soon with some additional friends. Can’t keep such a great place secret.

My husband and I each enjoyed a different Whisky we had never had before. Service was great. Bartender offered us a sample from one of their hand selected barrels called Rare Character Presents. We ended up buying a bottle of it for $130. Excellent price for a limited edition Whisky.

This spot is one of a kind. With all of the selection in the world & an owner, Russ, that knows quite literally all there is to know about the hundreds of whiskey options he has, 10/10. Enjoyable vibe, lots of options, handcrafted articulate cocktails. Not to mention, these whiskeys are priced at a considerably generous price.
Great location, great selection of whiskeys, knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is great, comfy couches to lounge great music. You need to stop in whether you live in Reno or just visiting like I was.

I came in here a few weeks back on a misty rainy night and heard some Gordon Lightfoot music playing. I listen to Gordon all the time at home and it makes me so nostalgic so it hit me hard. The selection was overwhelming. I checked my pulse to see if I had died and gone to heaven because it seemed like a big dream. I browsed the bottles without being hassled and I thought I'd throw a curveball and ask for a hard to find super-peated whiskey called Octomore. They didn't have it, but they sure knew about it and said they've had it before. The leather chairs and the vibe were so fine and I was so tired I knew I'd just buy whisky and fall asleep so I walked away, but was happy to find such a nice place and I'm sure to return.

I was here with my boyfriend on February 23! My boyfriend was really excited when we saw this place that had huge collection of whiskeys! So we went in! There was just one guy that was running the place, did not welcome us in, when clearly made eye contact with us, not a big deal to us but what bothered us is the comments he made! My boyfriend chose a few whiskeys but he said all of them are out, usually when you go to a bar they would try to recommend you a substitute specially when they are out but he did not! Then we asked what he has and if we should look at this section and he said “ as you can see we have lot of walls here we don’t have that many drinks”while smirking, basically being sarcastic ! We felt really uncomfortable and unwelcome! We left after one drink! Worst service at a bar so far we’ve experienced! I don’t recommend this place at all!
