We hosted our annual Christmas party at Wild River Grille with 55 guests, and it was fantastic! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the room was already beautifully decorated for the holidays. A special thank you for taking our decorations ahead of time and putting them up for us — our "Nautical" touch fit perfectly! The food was excellent, the service seamless, and there was plenty of space for everyone to mingle and enjoy the evening. We’re so grateful to the team for making our celebration so memorable and can’t wait to come back!
Bad dinner last night. I ordered the 53 dollar ribeye and half of it was grissle. Chris the waiter told me that it’s normal that a ribeye to have lots of grissle in it. They should add that on the menu that half of the steak is going to be that way. I think it makes the chef look bad. I’ll never return to a restaurant that I’ve visited many times before.
Service and atmosphere were perfect. 10 out of 10. Our waitress was attentive without being too much. Waters were always full and seating and food was quick. I have absolutely nothing to complain about with the entrees. We got a ribeye and the pork chop. There was not anything actually wrong with it, it just didn't blow me away. For the price you are paying ($130 for me and my husband with one beer and one dessert) I wanted to be impressed, and I wasn't. The only negative was the bread pudding dessert. Very little flavor and no texture at all except for mush. I understand bread pudding is soggy bread, which is why I think a texture like nuts or something is so important, but this did not have that and was soggier than most I've tried. And very light on the cinnamon and nutmeg, so it just tasted sweet, but not flavorful.

They food here is okay. I would expect a little better for the price you pay, but it's totally fine. I had lamb which was well seasoned but a little lacking in flavor, again totally fine just not great.
The panacotta was overly sweet and was herd to taste any flavors other than sugar.
The staff were super friendly, helpful and fast.

The food was worth every penny, between my friends and I all of our dishes were delicious!
Really enjoyed my Birthday dinner tonight. Chicken Marsala and Ribeye Steak were fantastic. Great service!
I had a great experience at Wild River Grille. The food was genuinely delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and professional.
The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and feel taken care of.
Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking for quality food and great service in Reno.

Excellent wine selection, reasonably priced. Creative menu options. We enjoyed our small plates choices—Brussels sprouts, scallops and the seasonal butternut squash hummus.
The Wild River Grille has been a popular go-to destination for locals and travelers and casino-goers since 2007. Located at 17 South Virginia Street, on the Riverwalk in Downtown Reno, in the historic Riverside Building, it offers a full bar, an expansive riverside patio and live music. Open daily from 11 to 9, Wild River Grille is situated in the home of Riverside Artist Lofts, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. I started with Caprese Bruschetta with oven roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, garlic basil pesto and balsamic reduction, a bowl of French onion soup and a Classic Caesar salad with shaved parmesan cheese and house-made garlic croutons. For my entree, I chose an eight-ounce filet mignon (if I'm eating steak, my cardiologist recommends filet mignon above all others) topped with cowboy butter and served with a parmesan risotto cake, Delta asparagus and seared scallops on the side. For dessert, I highly recommend the bread pudding with nutmeg, cinnamon, white chocolate chips, golden raisins, creamy rum butter, caramel and white chocolate syrup. I wonder what my cardiologist would say about that?

Enjoyed our pre-Philharmonic dinner at the Wild River Grille Saturday night. Service was prompt and the food very good. Shared the Beet Chip salad before entrees of Salmon and Braised Short Ribs. Shared a Truckee Mud Pie afterwards. Only downside was being seated in the River Room with a number of very large tables which tends to stress the servers and make the noise level much higher than typical.
We first planned to have dinner over at "The Shore" and my wife and are so happy we didn't. Everything from the drinks, the appetizer, the dinner and the dessert was absolutely amazing here at Wild River Grill. Thank you so much for making our wedding anniversary dinner so perfect.
We had a wonderful experience at Wild River Grill We had excellent service and our food was delicious.
Very nice lunch. Brie and pear sandwich with truffle fries. Nice location by the river. Prices were fair. Service was friendly. The order came out quickly and right.
This was 3rd time to dine here, last time was 5 years ago. The quality of the food continues! Two of our group of four had the meat loaf (house specialty), one had the Mahi Mahi, and another the beef short rib. All were delicious.
