Really good food. Very friendly service. And the garlic bread is amazing. Good ambiance. We will definitely return.

Good food and service. Only downside. We got there 10 minutes before they opened and were chewed out for being early. We were celebrating a birthday and had one bag. We were told the package, size of slippers, was obstructing their foot traffic. I would suggest a better approach to customers and warn anyone against celebrating a special ocassion that entails gifts. Waitress and food preparers get an A+.

Zozo's will forever be the ultimate comfort food date night spot! If you are craving some good homey Italian food, this is your spot. Judy and Sid are the sweetest people on the planet, and the entire staff at Zozo's is so friendly and welcoming. It is always a pleasure to enjoy a meal here, and it's a bonus that the food is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend you order the special, whatever it may be. It always turns out to be delicious! Also, their bruschetta is what dreams are made of. I have tried to re-create it at home, and it's no use. We will be back again specifically for this dish.

Waiter Cody was great and food okay. But hard to overlook the shoddy, dirty, neglected environment. Dust everywhere, mood lights out, chipped paint. Will not return.

I'm I'd leave five stars, but it's not cioppino without crab! Service and food were very good!

Zozo's is a great little family restaurant. It's old timey style. The staff have been there for ages. They know their menu and specials. They have a corkage free offer on Tuesday. I've come with a couple of friends and we opened some bottles with our dinners. They have their own big bowl wine glasses that will let your wine breath. The last time I had the polenta with seafood. It was great. Before that had the ribeye steak. I wasn't disappointed.

Ok.... Is it italian food? Ordered clam linguine, cioppino. Both taste so bad. Super bland. My clam linguine looks like noodle soup, too much sauce which tastes like watered down chicken stock with butter. Also they put too much green onions. I don't understand the positive reviews. Service is good though. I just don't like the food. Sorry.

i had the Veal Picatta (waiter's veal recommendation) and upgraded my salad to a Caesar salad, which was $5 more. The Caesar salad was good...but for the expensive cost that i failed to notice...i should've just got their house salad. The bread was good and i was given another helping of it. The veal portions were small & thin and i was disappointed with them. i didn't say anything...but i am saying it here. One piece of veal was very tough and i had to use a sharp knife to cut through it & the other piece of veal was like a loose end or something. I also didn't care too much for their creamy sauce on the veal. The vegetables were fresh and good though. The stars in this review went from 3 to 2 after i had a way better meal across the street at the La Cucina Italian Eatery on 10-21-22. This documentation for this edited review was completed on 10-22-22.

Delish food; nondescript casual with friendly service. Prosciutto wrapped asparagus appetizer was delightful and my cioppino was complex and rich. Highly recommended!

This was a very busy place on Saturday. They did manage to squeeze us in which we appreciated. We tried to start with a bottle of wine but unfortunately three of the bottles we chose they were out of. The garlic bread comes with an entrée and was absolutely delicious. The server recommended the chicken piccata and cioppino special. We also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The cioppino didn't have any crab which was disappointing. It was a little watered down and under seasoned. The spaghetti and meatballs were on point. Classic delicious sauce with huge meatballs. The chicken piccata was also a very large portion but lacked seasoning. The place could use a good deep cleaning and some new floors they were quite disgusting and dirty. We will be back to try more menu items.

The staff are amazing, the food is some of the best I've had, and the portions are way more than I can eat. I took my family here last week and just let anybody order what they wanted. I got a bottle of sangria for the table, 3 meals, 3 appetizers and 3 deserts. It was a little over $140 I think. For this kind of quality and the large portions, I was expecting to spend closer to $200. Absolutely fantastic.

Not only our favorite Italian restaurant in Reno, but I think our favorite restaurant in general. It's owned by an older couple that wander around the restaurant and greet every guest as if they were an old friend. From the second you walk in the door you feel like you're home. We always tell ourselves we're not going to get an appetizer because they give you so much food but then we look at the menu and just can't help ourselves. This time we got the bruschetta which was bursting with flavor. You also get perfectly buttered and crunchy garlic bread, as well as a salad with your meal (highly recommend the Caesar). For my meal I got the bow tie carbonara. Between the creamy sauce and bacon bits in it, it was the best carbonara I've ever had. My fiancé got Zozo's pomodoro special (I got it last time and it was heavenly). I almost forgot to mention the goblets of wine they give you, the sangria being my favorite. From the food to the warm feel, we are never disappointed here and will continue to come back!

This was my wife and Is anniversary spot for years as this is where we had our first date almost 10 years ago. This past July, we made a reservation a week in advance. When we show up, the older gentleman working as the host sat us at an absolutely filthy table in the corner that was about the size of a chessboard. When we asked to be moved, he flat out told us no. So we decided to leave and asked him to inform the server to which he rolled his eyes. Such a shame, Zozos used to be such a fantastic, reputable, and romantic place with great staff who always made our anniversaries memorable. Now we will be going to Johnnys Ristorante for our special moments.
