I stayed nearby on Mother's Day, the first night of a road trip home to New Mexico, and ate dinner here on my own. I was treated like Queen for a Day, red rose and all, and it made my day. The food was excellent and the friendliness and good will still warms my heart.

Basquet's is a restaurant known for its excellent food, made mostly from scratch with a Basque twist. The Clam Chowder, Basque Beans, and soup of the day are standouts. The Comstock chicken sandwich, with bacon, sautéed mushrooms, and green chile, is a popular choice. Don't forget to try their amazing chocolate cake for dessert. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience.
