This place is exceptional all around . The food is being cooked in front of your eyes. The sazón is to die for. Everything in the menu is authentic Mexican food, the chilaquiles are delicious . Every time we are in Reno. We make sure we stop by. The staff is friendly and the service is amazing. The only down side is that it is small and have very little seating so th wait can be long, but worth every minute.

Got a Smothered breakfast burrito with carne asada. They put raw steak on the grill and cooked it fresh to Make it and it was great! The price was good for the amount of food you got as well. I'd go back for sure!

We had very attentive service and enjoyed our brunch at the counter. Everything is made to order and made right in front of you. I enjoyed my strong coffee while we waited for our food. We ordered: chilaquiles con salsa verde, El Rodeo con pollo en salsa rojo, and Camarones la Diabla. El Rodeo was my favorite out of the three plates. I loved their beans and rice more than their potatoes. I was bummed because I love potatoes and love making them at home. I prefer mine crispy and less greasy. Everything we ate did have a great flavor, and I wish their salsas had more of a kick. I was personally craving something spicy. I preferred their red over their green salsa, and I'm usually green all the way. The majority of their seating offered is counter space for those dining in or waiting. I do recall seeing maybe two other tables for two off to each side. Seating is limited, but we stopped by mid week for breakfast. I can only imagine wait times can get long. I am looking forward to coming back for my next brunch experience.

***4.5 stars*** When my standard is my Mexican mom's cooking, then everything else is compared to that. With that being said, 4.5 is fair for this restaurant. Only about 15-20 people can sit down(see my pic) and BE PATIENT. Food is fresh and will take a little longer than usual. The cooks are beasts and work very efficiently together! I ordered a breakfast burrito with carne asada and I wasn't crazy about the red sauce. It was "tomatoey", but lacked seasoning. Beans were excellent and rice was pretty good. Chorizo quesadilla was excellent! Horchata was also very good. Prices were fair for the area, and I'd definitely go back!

Very small hole in the wall place. Corner of rock Blvd VERY EASY TO MISS because of some trees i beleive but very authentic and the people are very friendly. Our server Sergio Nava did an amazing job ensuring food and service was excellent! Thank you Mr. Nava! ?
