So lived out here for years but bever been. Wife and I looking for something different decided to go to Davids. Got the filet wife got Ahi and s wedge salad. Food was great. Every dessert on the menu is my food group seriously. So week later went back got the smash burger and she got fish and chips and did not disappoint. We got our next four visits coming soon.

Love the fall menu!!
We had the Port tenderloin and mushroom Ravioli. Always a great meal, one of our favorite places.

I'm new to the area, so take my review with a grain of salt. The place was really cool, great atmosphere, nice sport memorabilia decorating the place. It was great, until we were seated. The service was AWFUL. Truly. I doubt hopping on the table and dancing would get our waitresses attention. To be honest we eventually just gave up seeing our waitress; after we ordered our food she only came to the table once and that was after another waitress tried to give my husband the incorrect dish. He ordered steak, they tried to give him the pork. The food was okay, not great, not bad. But if the service would have been better I could have given the place another shot, it really does have a cool atmosphere.

Called to make sure i could split the flavors of the red hawk wings and was told yes. When i got home the wing flavors i ordered were not as i ordered and when i called to speak manager i was told they dont do that. I was charged a seperate order of wings when i did not agree too. In addition i had to go back in 3 times since my order did not include the ranch, tarter sauce for all the dishes in my order. I should not have to make sure that all the items described in the menu are included in my order. This should be done before telling the customer order is complete. Its a huge inconvenience.

Left a msg for the manager Jay to call me back, hopefully they will be helpful in rectifying some of these inconveniences. We have never had any issues prior when we have made davids grill our choice for dinner.

Nice atmosphere. Option available to eat outside overlooking the golf course, if you like. Food & service was good.

Wonderful dinner, great service. Recommend steak salad, coconut prawns and wedge salad. The noise level was a little loud, but service was excellent. Recommend making a reservation it gets very busy.

I thought I had reviewed this place before, but I guess I didn’t . If I had reviewed this a long time ago, I can do a review now. The food used to be really good here, and I love the chef, but man it is not good now.. we came there mid week a few weeks ago, and it took so long to get drinks, and the place was not busy at all. I think it probably took 15-20 minutes for her even to acknowledge that we were there. I ordered a drink, called the white linen, it was really good, it was vodka, St. Germain, Lacore, lemon juice, and seltzer, water, yummy!! hubby had some kind of whiskey, concoction and it tasted really good. And then it took forever to take our order, I ordered a flame mignon meal with a baked, potato, medium, rare, hubby ordered the salmon meal, with rice. I didn’t really eat anything on my plate. I ended up taking it home and my husband had it for lunch the next day, because he will eat anything.. I thought the filet mignon was kind of merely, and his salmon was really good, but I don’t know why they took the skin off, why didn’t they crisp the skin? He said the rice had no flavor whatsoever, it’s like the chef just puts it on the plate doesn’t think nothing about it, I can tell he really doesn’t like his job.

We ordered the Cauliflower appetizer, and there was way too much breading on the cauliflower, and the stems were cut off, that was a bummer, the chef needs to go into the flowing tide that’s new in Spanish Springs, and have their cauliflower, it is really good and we keep making it at home. It still took a while when we ordered a few more drinks, service was OK. She was a really good girl, but you could tell that the management really doesn’t care anymore. We used to get this appetizer and it was a polenta cream polenta on the bottom with a shrimp on a stick with bacon. Oh my God it used to be delicious now their appetizers are so boring. I love the atmosphere, but what the heck happened to the food and service?? I don’t think we’ll be back again, this is about the fourth meal. I’ve had there in the last few years that was not good since they changed chefs. I think we’re done.

The attentive and cheerful staff and consistently high quality food at this family friendly local favorite keep us coming back. The outdoor patio is comfortable, spacious and cool (even on a sizzling hot evening)!

This spot has a lot going for it. The outdoor seating is the highlight—pretty views of the golf course, lots of birds, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes for a nice lunch or dinner. Inside, it’s more of a sports bar vibe, which works well for catching a game or bringing the family.

The big drawback is cleanliness; menus could use a refresh and there are often flies, which takes away from the experience. That said, the staff is consistently very kind and welcoming, which balances things out.

Food is solid and a little above average. The fish and chips are tasty if you enjoy a thick, crispy batter. The chicken piccata is rich, creamy, and filling. Drinks are fun, with a menu full of flavorful options that pair well with the atmosphere.

Overall, it’s a good family-friendly choice with great outdoor seating and hearty food, even if the cleanliness could use some attention.
