Davidson's Organic Teas

Horrendous customer service, if it was possible to put no stars, I would have. I ordered back in December and was sent the wrong item. Communicated multiple times trying to get a solution and now have been essentially ghosted. Do NOT order from their website if you can help it.

Ordered for the first time with this company through Amazon. I did not receive the item I ordered but received a totally different Item. You can not return teas the website is not taking the request for a replacement so I am stuck with something I did not order. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to seeing the quality of this brand. Two stars give because in did arrive in a timely fashion - sadly what I received is a caffeinated tea so I am not able to use because I only drink herbal non-caffeinated teas.

I have tried for weeks to resolve an issue with the company, and unfortunately, nothing has been done regarding this. I love the product, just believe customer service really i.s lacking

I've been drinking Davidson's teas for years now and they are simply the best. You can tell the leaves and flowers are of great quality by how good the teas taste.

Nice tea, but these guys can't run a website.

Unprofessional wholesale department (or person) who doesn't read or properly respond to emails.

I placed a wholesale order, and in the notes requested confirmation of shipping charges and carrier before shipping. When they got back to me with a shipping quote totalling 50% of my order, I knew something was off.

They then said if I tried to cancel or change the order, there would be a restocking order adjustment fee (for what? They didn't even ship the product).

I told them no, and they backed off. At $500 they offer free shipping, and in a small order, they wanted to charge close to $200 for shipping, with a total that could come to $464 for only $200 worth of product. That makes little sense. If I'm forced to spend that much, why wouldn't I just 3x my order quantity and get free shipping?

I tried to follow up again with their customer service rep and have yet to hear back. My credit card was already charged, the items not shipped. These are shady business practices with awful communication.

EXCELLENT Quality!!! As an herbalist and producer of all things "green", I can honestly say that I have enjoyed the quality of the loose leaf teas (black, green & white) that I have begun to source through Davidson's Organic Teas. My research in all things tea related, and in regards to antioxidant, free radical blocking attributes has brought me to a place of "definitive" quality in sourcing that which I not only consume, but what I recommend other's "consume" in the name of science and health. My journey began as one only focused on my own health outcomes, but now....with my years of experience, brings me to a place of "recommendation" to others, so that they too, can experience the immense anti-inflammatory properties that a simple cup of tea can usher in.**I began sourcing through San Francisco Herb Company, and found the "quality" I was in need of, but ALSO found their value in shipping charges to be extremely overpriced! A 1lb of loose leaf tea would sharply cost >$34 in postal charges alone. When reaching out to find an alternative source, I was surprised by the avid customer care, and economical priorities that Davidson's Organics promoted. Since I strictly utilize loose leaf varieties, I can only speak to the quality of those teas purchased, but I am beyond pleased as to my experiences so far. Not only are the teas of high quality, and freshness optimal, but they never cease to send me samples with each order I placed! Wow! I am shouting these very praises each and every time, another asks me "Where did you get this tea?" Thank you, DOT.

The Pilipino girl on the customer service line needs to be replaced, can barely hear them and has ZERO interest to speak and will hang up on you repeatedly.

They need to replace the woman in the office. All she say is NO then hangs up. She sounds like you woke her up from a nap and like she isn't all there.

I have been buying Davidson's for close to 5 years now and currently I purchase it for our clinic patients, both in bulk and in teabags. We have tried at least 6 types of caffeinated tea and they are all wonderful. The herb and fruit blends are especially soothing and fragrant. But personally I am a big fan of their Irish Breakfast and Malty Assam Hathi. They are both flavorful and malty on their own or stand up to cream.By the way, I originally sought out Davidson's because of their commitment to organic, fair-trade, elephant-safe products. I have learned so much through these initiatives. I am glad to be able to offer healthy alternatives to sugared and carbonated beverages to our patients.

This is the first product I’ve ever reviewed in my life. I’m a college professor who has traveled the world for over 20 years, and experienced a vast variety of teas from each country I visit, from different makers and different brands. I purchased the Davidson’s Organics brand Tulsi Ginger Tumeric tea (as a substitute for a tea I really love, but was discontinued), and I must say Davidson’s Organics brand tea was very weak (took 3 tea bags to bring out the flavors). I thought hey, it might just be this particular box, and went on to purchase 4 different boxes of the individual bags of moringa blends (strawberry-rose, chai, hibiscus-watermelon and mango-peach) and to my disappointment and surprise they all, each one of them literally tastes like water (with an extremely faint flavor of the flavor advertised on each box)! I thought to myself, this is unbelievable! They have to know this tea is of the poorest quality. I can honestly say, this is the most disappointing tea I have ever had. I can’t even say the teas are subtle in flavor because the flavor is literally almost non-existent. I don’t have any experience calling their customer service so I can’t rate in that department, but my rating is solely on the quality of the teas themselves….extremely extremely weak and disappointing. I don’t know, but maybe the loose blends are better. I personally won’t risk it though, I will not purchase anymore of this brand at all. They have lost my business and referrals. I hope they make some serious changes in the quality of their products soon for buyers who expect a bit more of a tea for the cost requested by Davidson’s Organics. Thanks for reading.

Absolutely the finest Customer Service! Not to mention the teas are phenomenal. I placed an order online and it arrived quickly and exactly as I requested. Thank you Davidson’s Organic Teas!

We love Davidson’s Organics! It’s some of the best loose leaf tea in the business. High quality and a good value. Highly recommended. I especially love their selection of white teas.
