Slow service is an understatement. 10 minutes in the drive thru with only 2 vehicles in front of me. Grease dripped from my cold burrito and the fries had no salt. No napkins in my bag.

The side rice sometimes is awful! In the afternoon I don't understand the smells it's almost close to get bad, it's also too much water, sometimes they still sell it even the very bottom of the rice the toasted. I buy there very rare now but it always disappointing, it's scary because it's for my 6 years old son, we always do the drive thru and when we get home, he try to eat couple spoon, and he can't finish bcoz it taste bad! I can't complain bcoz we already went home. I hope you have inspection of your food, specialy the RICE!! MAYBE TRY TO TASTE IT SPECIAL IN THE AFTERNOON!

It's my first time eating at any Del Taco, ever. I did not have high expectations because I thought it would be like a taco bell fast food experience. 9:00ish on a Saturday night. I glanced at the 3 people working. I dont think any of them is 21 years old. I am writing this to say that I am pleasantly surprised. The three of them worked pretty efficiently together. Their movements almost looked choreographed. A steady stream of cars has been going through the drive in. I have enjoyed a wonderful meal. The wait was a bit longer than expected, but I came inside because there was a long line of cars. I know they are pretty busy. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito, because one can't really mess that up. I was excited to see that they have a green sauce choice. Delicious! I requested extra cheese and sour cream to be added, and I enjoyed the simple offering. The green sauce elevated the dish. I also had a grilled chicken taco. Nothing spectacular, but tasty! I dont usually eat fast food, but I was in the area and very hungry. I will come back if I'm back up this way. It was refreshing to see these kids hustling in a job that is not likely a long term career choice for them. But they were invested in getting my meal prepared as ordered. Thanks for a pleasant dining experience!

I was given overcooked carnitas on my order and a very minimal amount at that. When I asked tge counter about it I saw that they were out and I had been given the last of what they had at that moment. They went into a warmer and opened and new bag. I believe it's cooked but obviously not very well because what they gave me made me so sick. I'm glad at work at Renown Urgent Care because I might just have to check in as a patient. I'm am in so much uncomfortable pain at this very moment i had to come report it. Don't do that deltaco!!! Cook the meat better when you grab new stuff!!!! Please !

I had a horrible experience. I waited 25 minutes for french fries. The food was extremely salty. And who puts french fries in burritos?
We ordered classic chicken burritos and got two messy chicken tacos. We ordered 3 new carnitas street tacos with no onions and got 3 carne asada street tacos with so much cilantro it was ridiculous. The cilantro had full stems and the meat tasted days old (gross). It had green sauce not rojo sauce, frankly I’m surprised they paid attention to the “no onions”. Then my son had a bean and cheese burrito add sour cream. There was so much sour cream that it was terribly runny and thrown together in a way that made the tortilla fall apart after two bites. It was seriously a mess. We also ordered a spice chicken burrito with no sauce and got chicken pieces that were hard to chew and tasted days old. Not fresh at all! We were not given a receipt so I can even provide that to management.
It’s been a hit and miss with this Del Taco location for the last two years. More misses than not but it’s a lot closer than the other locations. Other family members do not bother coming to this location. The meat often tastes old, reheated ick. Whomever prepares the food obviously doesn’t care about the correct way to assemble the food items let alone care about doing the bare minimum. No quality control at all. Portions are either very slim (especially breakfast burritos) or grossly overboard with condiments and veggie components. I should’ve taken photos but was so irritated and disgusted with the way our food was that I forgot to. I hope management takes this seriously. There was no wait in the drive thru, no one waiting inside so it’s not like they were inundated with customers. It was approximately 4:55 - 5:00pm when we went through the drive through.
If you want good Del Taco, go to the location off of Vista by the freeway in Sparks. They are consistently good, fresh and portions are always consistent.

I went to this Del Taco location before 11AM on a Tuesday and ordered three Carne Asada tacos. After getting home, I found the meat to be really tough and not edible and it didn’t seem fresh.
I called and spoke with a young lady who was very kind and professional. She told me she had just come back from break and wasn’t aware I had just gone through the drive-thru. After checking, she let me know that the Carne Asada was from the night before because they hadn’t thawed the fresh meat for the day yet. She said I could return after 1 PM for fresh tacos. I asked about a refund, and she let me know the manager would need to take care of that later in the afternoon, which eventually did happen.
Everyone I spoke with was nice and respectful, and I appreciate the honesty. My review isn’t about the staff, they were great. But if you’re ordering Carne Asada in the morning, just be aware it might not be freshly prepared.
Two stars for the overall experience—not terrible, but definitely not great. Just a heads-up for others.
