This is one of the worst experiences we have ever had at any steakhouse restaurant. It’s very difficult to ruin the mushroom soup, but they did it; the mushroom soup was salty and had the liquid smoke taste and smell…yucky. I ordered a medium-cooked steak, but it came very rare; it looked like a piece of raw, uncooked meat. It was inedible. They forgot to bring wine and had to ask twice. The crab cake was okay.

This restaurant is overpriced for this quality of food and service. We do not recommend going there. If you want to enjoy your special celebration, we would highly recommend Western Village Steakhouse a few blocks away, or Peppermill or Atlantis Steakhouse in Reno.

We went in for a happy hour dinner with our kids. Tasty steaks (the boys report). My salmon was basic but good. Salads were meh. I’d go back bc the happy hour is a decent deal - 1/2 off many options.
Generous portions. Our bill was still $250 for 4 people. (You have to ask for the HH menu!). Otherwise, this doesn’t meet standards for a good steakhouse (well below Morton’s for example). Server was very nice.

Had 7pm reservations for 2 for our first anniversary. That's as far as we got sadly. Everyone seemed absolutely beyond flustered as soon as we walked in. From the bartender huffing and puffing and forgetting our drinks, twice. To the hostess letting us know there were "only 3 servers on this evening." Our server stopped by after 10 mins and a rushed speal by the "room manager" to let us know he had to cook a steak for another table and asked if we would like drinks, didnt provide any other information. We ordered our drinks and away he went. After 18 more minutes we hadn't had drinks delivered yet nor had we seen our server. Actually we did see our server at the table next to ours giving a long detailed speech on where the steak comes from and the evening specials. I looked at my wife and said "we didn't get any of that information from him". I would have loved to know the specials. No specials no info on the prime steak. At this point we got up and left as it was over 30 mins and we hadn't made any progress. I like a nice relaxed dinner but I shouldn't have to fear growing old sitting at the table. The best part was as i was walking out with my wife the manager was standing at the host stand with his arms crossed as his staff literally fell apart. Time to designate a server assistant to do tableside service. For a steakhouse of this caliber and price this should never be the scene. This is something one would expect from an Applebee's or Chilis. This was our first experience here and will be our last. We tried this place despite the locals saying how it isn't great. Dukes must not realize western villiage steakhouse (a local staple) is 1 block away, thats actually where we ended up going. Thanks for nearly ruining our anniversary!

Let’s start by saying they checked off everything on this list. The food, immaculate. The service, extraordinary. The atmosphere, polished.

The food is five star 1000%. Hats off to the kitchen staff. They knew what they were doing back there. Shout out to the GM for giving me a behind the scenes kitchen tour.

The wine, cocktails and liquor selection are extensive. Hundreds of bottles of wine. Bartenders can help you concoct a cocktail catered to your liking. And a hefty selection of liquor from well to top shelf. If you happened to win big at the casino don’t hesitate to treat yourself to something nice from the top shelf. Your future self with thank you.

Wonderful steakhouse inside the Legend’s Casino. The air filtration in the restaurant worked well. Fun cocktails to start. Steak was delicious and came with salad or soup, vegetables and potatoes or rice. The dessert cart had a great selection of special desserts. Service was attentive and timely. It was a lovely evening and delicious meal.

I treated my friend to a fancy birthday dinner at Dukes. It was fabulous. We were treated like queens. The Maitre D was helpful as to what to expect & introduced us to our waiter. He was great. Both were very friendly & had great sense of humor!! We had crab cakes appetizer. Delish! I had the rack of lamb. Love lamb & they were delicious! My friend had the rib eye steak. It was huge & also delicious. Dessert…flaming Baked Alaska!! Service from our waiter was impeccable. Glad to have Dukes in the neighborhood! We will be back! BTW…Leftover lamb is great!! 💙

The food here is incredible! Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. They do have a banquet room for larger group (appx 10-12). The staff are all so friendly and amazing. Highly recommend! I would give more stars if I could.

Very nice dining experience. Excellent service. My husband had the halibut slightly over cooked but still good. I had the pan seared scallops with maple cream sauce, excellent. They now offer a weekly prix fixe salad, entree and desert for $48. Great deal

The crab was atrocious. Over cooked, overpriced, hot in some parts, ice cold in others. At 108$ a pound you'd think you might enjoy it, but NO.

Food was okay, good wine menu, and an extremely self important staff. The experience was pretty off putting. Several of our items came out either extremely salty or very plain. When we mentioned it, you would have thought we insulted the bartenders mother. Apparently we were the problem? Then after we mentioned the food several times because some of it was inedible due to the amount of salt in it, I felt like the managers were lingering like we were going to be a problem or trying to get something for free.

The reason I’m leaving a terribly review, you ask? My husband and I had an extremely stressful 3-4 weeks and it was our first outing to actually be able to take a break from it all and this was our experience. This place was begging for this review.

Once again, a wonderful meal and dining experience at Duke's. We always enjoy taking friends there for their first time. I can always depend on them being satisfied and impressed.

Went for a special wine and dinner pairing event. What a huge disappointment. We have been to a number of wine and dinner events and patrons are usually interested in learning more on the featured wines and be paired with fabulous food. All in all felt like we were in a local bar with rude and noisy people everywhere. Too small a venue to have loud patrons yelling one table over the next, could hardly hear yourself think. After questioning the manage as to the loud and chaotic environment, instead of a special wine and dinner event he stated that 90% of the attendees were gambler comps or in this case loud drunks ordering tequila to drink along with marginal wine. Then on top of it all, when we got a bill because we thought it would be a good event and we paid for our meal, Duke's slapped on a non-voluntary 30% tip for a party of 2 people? Wow what a huge disappointment and doing that even after sharing with the manager our disappointment in the event and the environment. Professionalism and respect, near zero at Duke's. Food was marginal at best, the dessert course was the best course which is sad when your having a 5 course meal. With staff and management showing no respect or apologies for the chaos of the night, a fine dining establishment would have offered a sincere apology and maybe a discount but not at Duke's you get a mandatory 30% tip added. All things considered, don't waste your time or money, worse steak house experience I have had in any city I have ever traveled to. The night and environment was more like dinner at a local Bully's than a fine dining steakhouse. We will never go there again, Anthony's Chop House is miles above Duke's and in the future will be our place of choice for any finer dining experience.
