I stopped in while going to a movie at Galaxy Victorian. Had a nice glass of wine, liked it so bought a couple bottles. This shop is worth a visit. I'll be back.

Delicious food, friendly staff and live music

Had a great time tasting some fun wines. The wines tend to be young, but the quality is in the product. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and the live music on Saturdays is fun. The atmosphere is great and everyone is just having a good time.

I was very fortunate to be at Engine 8 Urban Winery this evening, when they were introducing a new appetiser called Steam Bites. Of course it's one of my favourite places so maybe I'm biased but the atmosphere, the few menu items they have ( pizza best in the city ) and the people make it such a fun place to visit. But the new appetiser is probably the best thing I have had off the menu when I've been here. Their pizza is amazing, as everyone knows who's been here, but I would rate this new appetiser as the number one food item on the menu! If you have been here before you need to try it , if you have never been here before, there are so many things in addition to this new appetiser that you need to get yourself acquainted with.Jim

What a fun night my daughter and I decided to go to engine eight we had so much fun. We had the best pizza and wine and the owner. Michael and his wife are very gracious and place is clean. It's just a fun place to go to sit back relax have a glass of wine or a really good pizza

This is my second visit. A group of us shared three large pizzas and all were terrific. The spicy one is just the right amount and sweet and spice and defidnitly a favorite. We had the same server as last time and she's just great too. Super friendly but not too intrusive. It's a really cute place with pretty good wine and really good food and service!

I've been to Engine 8 a couple of times and have had a great experience each time. The first time was for a party for my grandmother's retirement and we had use of the room in the back. There was plenty of seating, the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the pizza was absolutely delicious! My more recent visit was to just hang out and listen to the live music. The overall space is a bit small, but comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing evening. The music was a perfect volume and we could still talk amongst ourselves. Our server was quick and friendly and understood our mad dash to get to the concert at the Rib Cook Off. We had some Chardonnay which was delicious and for food ordered just the Caprese Bites and they were packed with flavor! Will absolutely order again! I haven't had a chance to enjoy the outdoor seating myself, but it looks nice! I can't wait to give it a try.

We snuck in before they closed on a Friday night after the Thomas Rhett concert. Met up with friends. Sat outside. It was nice of them to keep things open for concert goers. I felt the service was a little off. The mature servers seemed like it was bed time. But they were nice and pleasant. We had a Chardonnay, old fashioned (which we were told they didn't really specialize in), a Pinot, and Barbera. They were right, the old fashioned was a bad choice. In all honesty, I had a mint before we arrived and it threw my taste buds to the wind. I just couldn't enjoy the Chardonnay. I mentioned this to the server. In hindsight I feel they should have brought over a few crackers to help cleanse my palette. I'd like to come back another time to give them another chance and I'll be sure my palette is prepared to enjoy the wine.
