Was excited to try a new pizza place and ended up being let down more so by the service than the food. It took nearly an hour for our food to come out. We ordered the spinach salad with apple and walnuts, tons of nuts almost no apples. As mentioned the pizza took forever to come out while other tables were seated after us got theirs in a timely manner. After our first round of drinks were empty they say empty, we were never offered additional drinks. We gave up on alcohol and...

Pizza is good, just not my favorite. It can be very saucy at times which can overpower the thin crust. Make sure to check the time as the clean/ turn off the oven during some hours of the day.

Grimaldi's is one of only 2 places we get pizza in the Reno area, (the other being Nu Yalk Pizza). We love this place. The pizza is all its own. Coal fired brick oven makes a huge difference in taste. Even the crust is great. Our favorite is pepperoni, extra cheese, garlic and sun dried tomatoes. The original Grimaldi's still stands under the Brooklyn Bridge to this day and has been there for years AND is still a favorite of local New Yorker's! And for a reason!...
