Decided to go to dinner tonight with my 2 daughters and friend, it’s Cinco De Mayo so expected it to be very busy and surprisingly it wasn’t too bad. We got our drinks, 3 virgin margaritas and I ordered a blended margarita. Drinks were out pretty quick. Mine came on the rocks but I didn’t worry about having them fix it. We waited almost 25 minutes to order…After ordering, we order water… Which, 30 minutes later we were still waiting for and had to flag someone down for it …We waited an hour for our food. When we got our food we were very disappointed. One came out wrong, and our food was cold. As in very cold.
My daughter’s steak fajitas were more like a soup, very soggy and mushy. It was disappointing. Our waitress Karen did check on us after getting our food, we explained it was cold and incorrect; she said she would check with kitchen came back and confirmed it was wrong and cold. She said she would take the drinks off and apologized.
She was very sweet, however we took most of the food to go because it was truly too cold to eat. When she brought out the bill almost another 30 minutes later there were two drinks plus a beer (we didn’t order) on it. I asked about her removing the drinks and she said she would fix it. Then came back letting us know the manager/owner (male?) wouldn’t let her remove everything, but she removed the beer (not ours anyway) and two drinks… I’ll be honest, virgin margaritas cost pennies to make, a simple non top shelf margarita also not expensive to make… So it was very disappointing to hear they weren’t willing to make it right.
I’ll be honest based on the quality of food and service we won’t be back… there are many other restaurants in the area that have better quality food. I expected to maybe have to wait or have it be busy, but this was a disappointment from a restaurant we have been to many-many times. $95 bill for food that wasn’t enjoyable is a bit much.

My first time at this restaurant, the service was really slow, and the Mexican food was okay but pretty Americanized. I decided to give it another shot, but the service was still slow. It took 30 minutes to get our food and another 15 to get the check or a box.

The food was mid… not very flavorful and wayyyyyyyy too expensive for what you get to be honest. Im sure this is a great place to get margs but my hub and I just wanted to grab a to go order and eat at home with our baby. We were disappointed with the portions. The carne asada fries are SO small for $17. Kind of ridiculous

The food was very bland and salty. We had a chili Verde burrito and a shredded beef chimichanga. The meats we're cooked well, but there was just no flavor! The staff was friendly, but service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was not terribly busy.

Ordered the fajitas and was disappointed when the plate came out. Who has heard of fajitas with the meat swimming in tomato sauce.?
It didn't taste bad but it was a huge let down. Bummer, I wanted to like it here because it's close to home. Oh well.

I visited LasTrojes with a large group of friends for lunch. Our server, Izzy, I believe , was outstanding. She worked to keep track of our orders and made sure they were delivered hot and ready.
The food was fantastic, flavorful, tasty, and well presented. My cheese rellano was delicious.
I recommend this location as the server worked hard to make sure the orders were correct.

Went for brunch with friends, and the food was amazing, the service was great, and prices were low for what we had. We will definitely be back!
