57 dollars for a pizza with almost no bread or cheese. The pizza was subpar at best.

Can't go wrong here. We've never had a bad experience. If I had a magic wand, I'd make more parking and their restaurant bigger so EVERYONE can get a table. (Good problem to have)
Parking: Shared parking with other businesses.

First time eating there, I was impressed. The pizza and wings are excellent. Aside from longboards, Mama Celeste's is probably the best pizza around. The atmosphere is cool, the menu is huge, and there are tons of beers to choose from. The parking situation is less than ideal, you may have to park a few businesses down and have a bit of an extra walk but its worth it. I'll definitely be going back.

We have eaten several times at Mamma Celeste’s; service and food has always been amazing! The warm spinach salad is something you’d find in a nice steakhouse! The other day we had lunch as I was craving their BLTA sandwich. All I can say is there must have been a new cook, my husband said the tomato looked good. The sandwich lacked their customary quantity of bacon. It was more like bacon bits. Truly disappointing. However, my husband had the calzone which was amazingly delicious and we got the Italian nachos to go for our daughter, which were also delicious. We will be back, and of course, I’ll give the BLT another chance. Staff is always courteous and spot on. Don’t let the tight parking scare you.

Food is good, but in no way shape or form worth the price. They literally up charge for everything.. sides, toppings, dips, etc. We ordered one large pizza, small side salad (literally a few leaves of lettuce, 3 cucumber slices and one cherry tomato cut in half) and 3 draft beers.. total was $90 with 20% tip.
They charged for jalapeños, ranch, and splitting the toppings on the pizza. The large thin crust pizza (feeds 2 adults) with all the up charges came out to $40 (craziness!!!) small draft beers were $7-9 each, salad was $5. $83 + tax. Service was fine, waitress wasn’t overly nice by any means. They forgot the jalapeño’s on our pizza but still tried to charge us the extra $3 (insane up charge for jalapeños).
I’m shocked this place stays busy with how expensive it is, we won’t be back.

We have been going here once a week for a couple years, since they opened a d highly doubt we will ever go back. Our server was extremely rude and we tried numbers times to talk to her about it and it was so bad it completely ruined a very special night for us. It's sad to see how poor management can turn a great place bad.

Great food and great selection of home brewed beers. Fantastic service. I would definitely recommend this place for something different in the Reno area.

To be honest, Mama Celeste’s is a good place to eat and drink especially when it comes to pizza and micro brews. Also, a please to watch the UFC fights but there’s a $10 cover fee. But, it’s a little cluster when crowded.

The Pastrami Bomb was very tiny for what they charge! NOT MUCH INSIDE!!! I could have gone to Port of Subs and got a better value, larger sandwich(with more on it) for a much better price! Plus, they were late in bringing out the order....VERY DISAPPOINTING! Never visiting this place again!
Parking: Being handicapped...DON'T VISIT THIS PLACE. HANDICAPPED PARKING IS NOT BY THE ENTRANCE AND NONE WERE AVAILABLE!

Pizza wasn't ready on time. They made the wrong size pizzas. Had to wait another 30 minutes. No compensation for the error. Not even an offer to keep the wong pizzas...even after I asked for them.

You can never go wrong with a trip to Mama celeste's. While their backstory is a tragic one, they have risen from the ashes here in the Reno Sparks area and have become an essential and much needed local, not chain or corporate establishment in the Reno Sparks area.
I always enjoy myself immensely when I'm there and I always look forward to going back!
If you have never checked it out, you must!
