Went here for the first time yesterday and it was really good. There wasn’t many people there, slightly slow. Started with Shrimp Ceviche which was the best I’ve had yet. I ordered Carne Asada tacos with rice and beans. Super good!! The Paloma's are very good too!! Ended with the churros which were hot and very good. Thanks to our server Jennifer we will definitely be coming back again!!

This is my 4x I visit this place. Love their food, but they have poor service. Waitress don't check their tables if we need anything else. You have to go and get their attentions while they are busy chit chatting behind the bar.
What is upsetting their cocktails menu are misleading. They don't have the price of each drinks, so when I ordered mango mojito I can not taste the rum. It is like a mango lemonade. Not only that you have to pay for the extra for mango. I have to take the picture of their cocktail menu.
See below.
Mojito is one of my favorite cocktail, Moreno Restaurant is very stingy to add rum. Don't order Mojito just order lemonade much cheaper for $18.00.

We have been wanting to try Morenos Mexican Restaurant by Savemart in Spanish Springs for awhile now. Not a lot of good reviews that I have seen, so we were not sure. We went there today after I got my nails done a few doors down. This place is sooo cozy inside. I was really surprised how nice this place was, the decor was spot on and service was great, Nellie was awesome. Chips salsa and guacamole of course. I’m not a fan of guacamole, hubby is, but this was soooo good. We both ordered steak enchilada suizas, beans rice. Totally stuffed. Looking forward to going back again and again. Great bar, and next time we want a margarita. Our New favorite place. Excellent, authentic Mexican food.
Hostesses very bad at communication with customers and each other. Otherwise not bad. Kids of the employees (I assume) were also sitting in the very back & it was great listening to them sing along with the music being played & listening to them laughing. Very cute.
Food was great! The Salsa for chips and Salsa was awesome!!! Will return again for the great food!!
Couldn't be happier here, everyone is just the friendliest and the food is amazing! BUT the chips are not the best, kinda burnt tasting.
I don’t know if this place is going down hill. Like some of the staff and the food is usually good but this is an Asada burrito? Where is the meat?
The food tastes great, it also comes in large portions. The staff is all very kind and very quick. The decor is very nice, and seems to bring out the heritage of the family who owns it.
Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, this is some of the best Mexican food I've had in NW Nevada since moving here 3 years ago. The place was basically deserted at 3 PM on a Sunday afternoon, so we had the undivided attention of Carlos, making it easy to say service was exemplary. But I'll stand behind the assertion he's just as good when it's busy.
We had a couple margaritas and a mojito, all made to order rather than from a mix and they were top tier, simply excellent.
We ordered the molcajete to share and STILL needed to get a to-go box, which we forced ourselves to use rather than eat ourselves silly. Every element prepared to perfection.
We we absolutely return.

At approximately 1024 hours I placed an order for a wet burrito and a regular burrito both alpastor. Service by phone was awesome, when I arrived entered the establishment I was greeted and it’s a beautiful restaurant. But it went down hill when I tasted the food, rice blen and beans are overcooked and pretty hard. Al pastor had flavor just color and pineapple chunks.
I’m Mexican so when it comes down to Mexican food I’ll be upfront about it. I personally think they need to try the food they sell, and ask themselves if they would feed it to their family or themselves. Me and partner couldn’t finish our food due to the taste. I won’t be coming back nor recommending place to any one I know.

Went there for a date on the 4th of July. We got down on some tacos and had a few beers in one of their newly refurbished booths. The food was great and the service was even better ?

I had been there previously and was very disappointed. However, they more than made up for the previous experience.
The food was good, the service was good, the selection was good, and the prices were reasonable.
I would recommend giving it a try and we will be going back.
