Was referred to this cafe when lamenting about the lack of good Greek restaurants in the Reno area. Lo and behold, this co-worker then mentioned Niko's Greek Kitchen, and my world changed! To put it mildly, it is the best, not only in Reno, but of the many we Greek restaurants we have tried from the throughout Northern California to the Reno-Tahoe area! The food is outstanding! I would name all that we ordered and include photos (the cool thing to do these days but sometimes a bit off-putting when the photos don't do the food justice...yet I digress), but everything from the soups to the salads to the Gyros and Moussaka, and especially the service was outstanding! I recommend this place (as so many others have) if you're in need of satisfying your Greek Food Fix, or if you simply want an unpretentious wonderful meal in a modest cafe! Check it out!

I cant believe how crunchy their fries are. I ordered for pick up, then went to the grocery store for a couple of things, qnd then drove home. After 30+ min the fries were still crunchy!!!!! What is this sorcery? The falafel salad was also good, but the spanakopita was a bit dry for my taste. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant not have all the fancy restaurant atmosphere, but it doesn't need it! The food was so good! I had the beef/lamb gyros. The meat was bomb! The flavor was spot on, seasoned perfectly and meat was a generous portion of tender, and still a crispy outer layer. The pitas were soft and fresh and the tzatziki sauce was a perfect addition. It was worth the $10 for 1 gyro. I will be going back for sure!

There is more than way to make a Gyros, and Nikos is totally authentic, the best version available here in the Reno area.
The gyros were excellent and served with good portions of meat. The Greek salad as a side is a must. It’s simple but excellent, as you would get in Greece. Our waitress/cook did everything, in the front of the house- hostess, waitress and cook! She had a great attitude and provided service with a smile! The restaurant was a pleasant surprise.
Had a fantastic meal at Niko’s Greek in Sparks, Nevada! The gyros were absolutely massive—packed with tender, flavorful meat and fresh ingredients. At just $10, they’re an incredible value and honestly taste like something that should cost at least $15.
The woman behind the counter was super sweet and welcoming, making the experience even better. Even the small details stood out—the soda was perfectly chilled, and the water tasted crisp and refreshing (which isn’t always a given these days).
Great food, great service, and great value. I’ll definitely be coming back!
