Good family place. Might be a bit noisy if you are looking for a quiet dinner.
Amazing
Super yummy sushi! The menu is pretty extensive, but not overwhelming. There are tons of different options, both raw and cooked. I love the Hawaiian themed ones! I will definitely be a repeat customer.
The Ohana Sushi staff completely humiliated me in front of family and friends after I mentioned I had a peanut allergy and I will never go here again nor would I recommend anyone eating here. Full detail of issue:
My wife and I have eaten at Ohana Sushi many times and I have always warned the staff about my peanut allergy and they ensured they only used macadamia nuts in the past.
We went today 5/31 with some friends and the waiter had mentioned they actually use peanuts instead of macadamia nuts as their menu stated, when I mentioned my allergy. I stressed that I had a severe allergy and if they couldn’t accommodate I wouldn’t order (which is normal this happens sometimes) but the waiter ensured they could make it separate and made a separate order sheet for me and everything.
Where it was absolutely humiliating was I ordered more roles and asked for it separately again and they didn’t. A different waitress delivered the food and I tried to explain mine needed to be separate, and asked if it had been prepared separate. They had stated they didn’t know and took the rolls back. They never brought my order again but instead another waitress came to tell me that they wouldn’t make me any other rolls because I sent back the other two. Everyone was done eating at this point and I had to basically justify to the waiter that I just needed to ensure my food was made separate and they acted confused and argumentative like I was making it up.
It was humiliating having to go through this and I will literally never eat there again nor would I recommend anyone else give business to a restaurant as rude and careless as this. Some allergies are life threatening and it’s negligent of the owners to not ensure their staff handles all allergies with care, regardless.
Pretty pricey for lunch. Service was a bit slow considering the number of empty tables. Pay attention to your bill. They tried to charge an adult price for my 8 year old.
This place gets quite busy on weekends, and for good reason. They serve some of the better all you can eat sushi in Reno.
Best all you can eat sushi ever!
The food was Okay, parts of our order were wrong my husband asked for long rolls and he received hand rolls, we ordered appetizers and only one was delivered to the table after 10 minutes I had to ask/ remind the server about the rest of our order. We may give another try in the future on a non holiday weekend.
Love this place !!

This is our first time after all the reviews.
The best sushi place in reno they said but we found fish bone in salmon nigiri. Tryna tell the server and we're not even getting the apology just 'can I take it out for you' (probably not on the script so he didn't know what to do)
Also my favorite nigiri of all time is the mackerel and I don't know why they put hot sauce on it. A lot of food here is topped with sriracha hot sauce.
About the service you have to asked for everything such as a plate, water refill, order paper and bill
I wouldn't come back here ever again
(You can see fish bone popping up on the third salmon from left side)

Fantastic all you can eat sushi! 3rd place I've tried in Reno and this place is the best! Also had a poke bowl and it was delicious. They are VERY generous on their amount of protein you get! I'll keep going back.

Love sushi, this is one of my go-to places whenever I'm in the sparks area. They can be super busy as times still great service as they do the best they can do. They also have the best fruity rolls, which are new to me.

We went last week for the first time after a recommendation and reviews we read. We weren't impressed. The sushi was so-so, and couldn't even eat the salmon skin hand roll after one bite because the chunks were so big. I usually LOVE that roll. We will stick to our normal sushi spot. Bummer, was excited to try something new.
They never answer the phone to place takeout orders
Went during a lunch rush and was happy with priced paid for all you can eat plus added on an order of potstickers. Overall, it's good quality. Nothing smelled off and seemed fresh as can be for the desert! The young white male server with curly hair forget his name was on point. The runners, however, in the back corner area, kept mixing up orders, again lunch rush no biggie. My only suggestions would be cleaner cups and wipe the menus down a bit more often as they were very sticky. Will go back again! Jackpot roll and hamachi are ? ?
