Great dinner experience. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was delicious. Oysters on the half shell are always fresh and so good! They were busy but our server did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and making sure we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our visit.

The waitress had a rude attitude, she was not helpful at all. Other staff was also rude, the food wasn't good. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Wonderful food. Mixed feelings on the staff but overall I would go back every day for the food. Price was high, but what isn't inside a casino? Probably the best oyster shooters I've ever had.

Disappointed starting with standing in long line when made reservations. Then the booth requested in reservation was not available so we were placed in overflow area of bar. Service was then very slow when we made reservations to be close to our show reservation . I use to love the restaurant but taking everybody that did not make reservation substantially our sitting down. The hostess was no helpful despite long delay in waiting in line for table. I will never go back!

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at the Oyster Bar. The food was excellent. The service was spot on and I can't say enough about how good and fresh the raw oysters were. We would highly recommend.

Very poor service, we were essentially ignored for over 30 minutes! When we complained the response by the waitress and manager was also very poor and hostile.

Wow, has this place gone downhill. I am so disappointed in the food. Their old menu was three times as large as what they currently have and it turns out they took the really good things off the menu. This place is a true disappointment. Do not waste your time. Do not waste your money.

Always a pleasure. Excellent oysters and seafood. Been going here for 60 years. Loved John Ascuaga. Just avoid the peaks. The Pan Roast !!!

Food was good. Bread was super yummy. Served quickly and very nice lady. Crazy old school boat theme...I like that kinda stuff so that might just be me.

We went to Reno, out of our way on the way to Tahoe, specifically to have the Combo Platter meal at the Oyster Bar at the Nugget. It did not disappoint. We used Valet parking, it was great. We did have to get our steps in on the way to the Oyster Bar. There was ample signage to navigate our way through the Casino and back. We did enjoy our meal, it was just right for lunch. And the bread was delicious. Of course, we played a few slots and lost a little money. Playing for fun! It was a Sunday so the Casino was not crowded. I did see ample staff on hand. And they still have bathroom attendants who were very accommodating. Well worth our side trip to Reno.

The changes to the menu were a little disappointing. The shrimp scampi was decent, although it could have used a little more of the scampi sauce. The bread and the soups were tasty.

Food arrived after 1 hour, warm at best. Bus boys hustled their butts off , waitress seemed lost, promising food will be out soon, what was your order? Bartender complained about being slammed . It was so bad, it was almost funny!

Had to wait to be seated was seated at dirty table waitress gave wrong order twice place was packed food was mediocre at best. Price was outrageous for a pan roast with limited seafood and a salad and when I asked if bread came with salad I was told I would have enough to eat without it. Price was over 100$- used to be a great spot - will never go back
