This place absolutely smacks. Combo plate with garlic chicken and kalbi with a spam masubi hit a spot i didn’t know i had. They have some great poke as well.

The food itself tastes great! The service really depends on who is working.. a lot of people working there look miserable, but there are a couple who are nice and smiley! I LOVED this place the first time I went I got nice price worthy scoops, but the very next time I went they had halved the scoop! Depending on who you get, they often won't even fill the tiny scooper. They also stopped giving 2 scoops of crab.. it's sad to see that prices rose so much just to see pitiful scoops... Overall the customer service is lacking, the price for the quantity is severely lacking, but the food is yummy!

Ace is over here putting Poke Bowls together. I mixed it up tonight from my Usual Poke bowl style. Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp & scallops served up with a Brown Rice & Mixed Greens base. Topped of with Garlic, Shallots & Nori. Did a mix of sauces tonight. Sesame Ponzu with Truffle Ponzu. Splash of Tamari. Glad I stopped in. Go check him out.

TLDR: Chicken Katsu Curry. Hawaiian HospitalityThe place may not look Hawaiian, but it certainly FEELS it. As soon as you walk in, there's a hearty "Welcome" that awaits you. The front of the house guy is very happy, welcoming, totally embodying the Hawaiian spirit. The food was awesome as well!Normally my wife NEEDS her 30 servings of fruits/veggies a day. So when I asked if I could substitute the Mac Salad for mixed greens instead, he smiled and said "Of course!" We were both expecting a small container of salad, similar to the small tub of mac. Instead, we were treated to an entire bed of greens, on which her garlic chicken sat on top! Now THAT is awesome service! The garlic chicken itself was crispy and juicy. Very flavorful. She liked it very much.I had the Chicken Katsu Curry, which came with BOTH the curry and the katsu sauces, all in separate containers. I love that because then the katsu won't be soggy. I could dip the super-crunchy katsu into the curry. The curry tastes great. Not spicy, a little sweet, a little tangy... and chunky. Not sure what the chunks were, but it made it taste good. Honestly, the katsu sauce wasn't needed at all. The only nitpick is the macaroni salad. Not that it doesn't taste good, but actually I prefer the mac salad from Ono's... call me a mainlander, I guess...hehe. Just for the excellent service, I would give this place 4 stars, but the tasty food on top firmly plants it in the 5 star category. If I want a light lunch in Sparks, this will definitely be on the top of my list! I hope they can keep the Aloha spirit going for years and years to come!

Amazing service as soon as we walked in we was welcomed with a hello and a smile followed by some info about the menu that was extremely helpful. The food don't get me started drop dead amazing nothing to much for a kids menu but the BBQ options served us well my son enjoyed the experience as much as we did. Definitely can't wait to come again.

I'm going to go ahead and give a 5-star review for the food and the service I've experienced 95% of the time I've been there. First off, the Hawaiin breakfast is SO GOOD. I'm obsessed. And I love the SPAM musubi as a midday snack. The mac salad is . The poke here is awesome, too, and I'm generally not a poke fan. Service is typically very friendly. Had one bad experience, but I won't hold that against them. The space is cute, but it can get a little loud. Stellar food, though. Go try it!

Stopped by around 11:30 and I just have to say everything exceeded my expectations! The service was impeccable! Sad to find out they will no longer carry yellowtail but the food is still great! Definitely spring for the avocado! Portions are enormous!
