From the first call with Jessie and her attention to detail in planning to the incredible food Chef Chris made and the wonderful duo of Trina and Tanner our Family Holiday Party was perfect! I would highly recommend Roundabout Catering for any event, big or small. Thank you guys for working so hard!

We attended a Christmas party this evening at The Virgil, where Roundabout Catering provided the food and this was an excellent choice!

The bar had several options including some specialty drinks not just your basic beer and wine bar. Greg, was also incredible at crafting a mocktail that made me feel included in the revelry.

We started with an elaborate appetizer and hors d'oeuvres bar with so many wonderful flavors. I personally loved the basil cheddar, fresh pesto, the cheeses, dates, apricots and the best hummus I think I've ever had.
Dinner was buffet style with Little Gem Salad, Orzo Risotto (my favorite), herbed chicken breast in a champagne beurre blanc sauce and Tri-tip with Chimichurri. Desserts were Apple Crisps and Candy Cane Squares.

My favorite part was the appetizers but I did try a bit of everything except the salad and grilled vegetables. Both looked great and the husband said the flavors were perfect. The orzo risotto was my absolute favorite. I can't explain how flavorful this was made with cherry tomatoes, pesto (oh, that's why!), parmesan and orange zest. When we have them cater, we are definitely going to have this as a option. My second favorite was the chicken, which was also my husband's favorite. It was so tender and juicy. My husband said it was moist, but alot of people hate that word. It had just the right amount of herbed spices. I may have made tri tip my third just because of my specific diet, but it was also very tasty. You could tell the chimichurri was freshly made. The tri tip was perfectly cooked to a medium and medium rare. That too is tender and juicy.

Finally I can't say enough about the candy cane square. I'm usually not a fan of peppermint desserts but I'll make an exception for the oreo crust and peppermint cream cheese fluff. The apple Crisp was made with fresh apples that really let the natural flavor dominate the palette. There wasn't a lot of sugar on the apples, but they were really sweet. The crisp topping was buttery and sugary to sweeten the dessert without sweetening the apples.

I found that mixing the two desserts together was actually pretty phenomenal.

All in all, I don't think you can go wrong with this caterer. They put a lot of thought into their menus, and it shows.

A Big Hit!!! After an exhaustive search we landed on Roundabout to cater our wedding. My wife and I were very happy with both the food Roundabout was able to provide as well as the service provided. Throughout our wedding preparations their contacts at the company kept in touch; they helped us adjust our order as our guest count shifted, gave us advice on the amount of food and the types of fare that are popular and/or easy to consume at a wedding, and even provided a couple of specialty meals for the couple of vegetarians who attended our big day. If you are looking to find a caterer for your special event we highly recommend Roundabout and seriously suggest you go in for a tasting, food was spectacular and they have a large variety within their menu. Our experience with Roundabout Catering could not have been any better. The food was delicious , the service exceptional, and every interaction was met with constant professionalism. This was the best party we have had thus far and a it all had to do with Roundabout Catering! We will be using them for all of our future catering needs.

Roundabout Catering did an amazing job catering my nephew's wedding rehearsal dinner, which we hosted in the groom's parents' backyard as a wedding gift. The food was outstanding, and we received so many compliments from the guests. The staff was professional and ensured everything went smoothly throughout the evening. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of both the food and service. I can't wait to use Roundabout for another event! Five stars!

Thank you to Rick and the team at roundabout catering. I contacted them about an event with only about 6 weeks notice. As I live out of state, all the planning was done remotely. Rick helped to plan a wonderful menu and coordinated with the venue to insure a seamless event. The staff on the day were so kind and efficient. I highly recommend their services.

I recently used Roundabout Catering for a family celebration, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! From the moment I reached out for a quote, their team was incredibly responsive and helpful in answering all of my questions.

On the day of the event, the food was amazing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the short ribs & the truffle mac & cheese! It was clear that Roundabout payed close attention to every detail.

The service was exceptional as well. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. Overall, everything ran smoothly & we were very pleased! Can't recommend them enough.

Mediocre food and extremely unprofessional. They catered my best friend’s wedding back in May and at 100 bucks a plate per person the quality of food was OK at best, nothing special. Skimpy portion sizes, the staff kept a lot of the food for themselves. You can really say they have a roundabout way of conducting business.

To start from the top the bride and groom were in talks with them to do their catering and tasting well over a year in advance since every venue they spoke to recommended them (I’m convinced the venues get a nice kickback for recommending them). However, it was a nightmare for them to even set up their tasting since they kept dodging their calls and ignoring emails. The tasting didn’t happen until almost two months after it was originally supposed to happen and basically left the couple with no other option since it was pushed so close to the wedding date.

The guest list was over 100 people and at $100 per head it wasn’t exactly cheap food. The real problems come in with the portion sizes and left over food. Each person got a salad which was actually pretty good, but after that it was a buffet style distribution where everyone got the options of two thin slices of chicken breast, a tiny portion of dry sea bass, 3 asparagus and small portions of what I think were Brussels sprouts and/or mashed potatoes. I reckon each persons plate couldn’t have cost them more than $10 - $15 in materials, and I’m being VERY generous here.

Once everyone at the venue got their small serving and had a chance to eat they made an announcement that there was enough food for seconds. I immediately got up for seconds since it was the only food I had eaten that day and I was one of less than 10 people that managed to get a second serving before they dashed all of the food away and made it DISAPPEAR. From what I saw there must have been about 30% of the food still there in the trays that they just took for themselves, all paid for by the bride and groom. I ended up giving most of my second potion away to another guest who was still hungry.

Days after the wedding I was speaking to my friend (the groom) and he mentioned how many people told him that they were still hungry after the service and that they failed to get the second portions that were announced.

All in all the couple are too nice to make this review so I made it on their behalf (we were just speaking about the poor service again which reminded me to leave the review). This place won’t even be on the list of potential caterers for my wedding or any other work events.

Roundabout Catering made my party the very best ever! The staff was fun, friendly and very professional. The food and drinks were fabulous! The party-goers have not stopped talking about what a great time they had. I couldn't agree more!

I have nothing but great things to say about Round About catering! From communication leading up to the event, to the tasting, to the day of, everyone was so kind and accommodating. The staff the day of my wedding went above and beyond to make sure everything was how I wanted it and if I had any needs all throughout the night (extra helpful since I was the bride!). Also, I had guests that had special allergy needs and vegan/gluten free, and the chef was very accommodating and professional in making special plates for these guests. I was so appreciative! Extra big shout out to Rick Baker, the sales and event coordinator, for all the prompt and concise responses. Anything I asked her had an answer for! If you are in need of catering, I would 100% choose Roundabout!!

We hired Roundabout for our wedding nearly 3 years ago and I just realized we never left a review for Nicky and her team. Nicky and I went back and forth for months curating the menu and an incredible charcuterie table that I still receive compliments on. We highly recommend Roundabout.

I will say that I wish Nicky had mentioned that if we wanted to save any leftovers we needed to indicate it on our contract. It hurt to see so much food thrown away. Also, staff was a little too eager to clean up; one server went out of her way to make us plates while we were having photos taken and dancing, but another server cleared them away before my husband or I could eat them. And we had given the okay for staff to take flowers at the end of the night, but somehow my bouquet got mixed in with the table arrangements and disappeared.

We would like to thank Rick and his team that included Trina and Maria and others for making the celebration of life as smooth as possible. The communication, planning and execution were excellent and we would recommend Roundabout to everybody

Our family & friends are still talking about the soup being their favorite wedding food!.The chef helped recreate our favorite fast food, Crunch Wrap Supremes. They were a huge HIT! Thank you to the entire Roundabout team for making our day so special. We know that our venue had logistical difficulties but they always had a smile on their faces and pushed through walking up and down all the stairs in the house. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE ROUNDABOUT TEAM!
