I don't know where to begin! First and foremost, the service was EXCELLENT! The people were friendly, and always checking how everyone was doing whether it was if we were done with our food or refilling our water! And the food was AMAZING! The flavors melded and complimented each other perfectly! And the truffle macaroni! If I had kids, I would sell my oldest for more of it! The people in this company made our Christmas party so wonderful, I don't think we could find anyone better! Thank you!!!

Rick and his team was amazing to work with. He explained everything in detail and kept us informed throughout the entire planning process. Im glad I made the decision for you to cater my entire wedding (appetizers, dinner, and dessert). The food was amazing and the portions kept everyone full. Everyone is still talking about the chicken and waffle cones. I wish I would've put some in my purse lol. 100/10 service. Would highly recommend.

We loved working with Rick and Roundabout Catering. I'm Celiac and also was planning a backyard wedding - so was on the hunt for a caterer that could work with both of these things. Rick made everything so easy and seamless. It was so great to not have to worry about my food allergies at all on my wedding day. I think everyone at the wedding is now on the hunt for their Mac-N-Cheese + Tri-Tip recipe it was so good. Thank you Rick & team!!

I worked with Roundabout for a Grand Opening event, and they were everything I could've asked for! Erin handled everything pre-event and was very responsive and detail-oriented. Maddie was the event leader that night, and she was absolutely fabulous to work with, as was the rest of the catering staff. As a Type-A planner, they checked all my boxes - which isn't always easy to do! Definitely recommend working with them. (They also created the world's largest and most beautiful charcuterie board - see photo.)

Roundabout Catering provided food and catering for my 80th birthday party on March 29, 2025. We had about 25 guests and the party was at my home in Reno.
Everything was top notch. Roundabout provided tables, chairs, tablecloths and dishes in addition to delicious appetizers and entrees. The food was served buffet style and everything was perfect. Hot entrees were hot and there were leftovers for everyone.

A special thank you to Erin, who coordinated everything with my sister, and Nicole, who set up the buffet and stayed through the party to help serve and clear away the dirty dishes. She was a star and a wonderful addition to the party!

Everything was as advertised, on time and on schedule, to make a perfect, memorable 80th birthday party. I would recommend Roundabout Catering for any event, big or small!

From the first call with Jessie and her attention to detail in planning to the incredible food Chef Chris made and the wonderful duo of Trina and Tanner our Family Holiday Party was perfect! We attended a Christmas party this evening at The Virgil, where Roundabout Catering provided the food and this was an excellent choice!

The bar had several options including some specialty drinks not just your basic beer and wine bar. Greg, was also incredible at crafting a mocktail that made me feel included in the revelry.

We started with an elaborate appetizer and hors d'oeuvres bar with so many wonderful flavors. I personally loved the basil cheddar, fresh pesto, the cheeses, dates, apricots and the best hummus I think I've ever had.
Dinner was buffet style with Little Gem Salad, Orzo Risotto (my favorite), herbed chicken breast in a champagne beurre blanc sauce and Tri-tip with Chimichurri. Desserts were Apple Crisps and Candy Cane Squares.

My favorite part was the appetizers but I did try a bit of everything except the salad and grilled vegetables. Both looked great and the husband said the flavors were perfect. The orzo risotto was my absolute favorite. I can't explain how flavorful this was made with cherry tomatoes, pesto (oh, that's why!), parmesan and orange zest. When we have them cater, we are definitely going to have this as a option. My second favorite was the chicken, which was also my husband's favorite. It was so tender and juicy. My husband said it was moist, but alot of people hate that word. It had just the right amount of herbed spices. I may have made tri tip my third just because of my specific diet, but it was also very tasty. You could tell the chimichurri was freshly made. The tri tip was perfectly cooked to a medium and medium rare. That too is tender and juicy.

Finally I can't say enough about the candy cane square. I'm usually not a fan of peppermint desserts but I'll make an exception for the oreo crust and peppermint cream cheese fluff. The apple Crisp was made with fresh apples that really let the natural flavor dominate the palette. There wasn't a lot of sugar on the apples, but they were really sweet. The crisp topping was buttery and sugary to sweeten the dessert without sweetening the apples.

I found that mixing the two desserts together was actually pretty phenomenal.

All in all, I don't think you can go wrong with this caterer. They put a lot of thought into their menus, and it shows.

A Big Hit!!! After an exhaustive search we landed on Roundabout to cater our wedding. My wife and I were very happy with both the food Roundabout was able to provide as well as the service provided. Throughout our wedding preparations their contacts at the company kept in touch; they helped us adjust our order as our guest count shifted, gave us advice on the amount of food and the types of fare that are popular and/or easy to consume at a wedding, and even provided a couple of specialty meals for the couple of vegetarians who attended our big day. If you are looking to find a caterer for your special event we highly recommend Roundabout and seriously suggest you go in for a tasting, food was spectacular and they have a large variety within their menu. Thank you again Roundabout for all your help.

Our experience with Roundabout Catering could not have been any better. The food was delicious , the service exceptional, and every interaction was met with constant professionalism.
