Wow Bao? More like Bow-Wow. I have never been more disappointed. The rice bowl was 75% rice, the orange chicken I had was ok, but there were these weird crispy bits in it. The bao tasted heavily process and, unfortunately, like dog food. (I tried 4 different bao and they were all very similar) Never ordering from there again.
Bao buns were good, everything else is mediocre
The boa was amazing! I would recommend labelling them so people can identify them easily. Also, the ratio of white rice is ridiculous for 15 bucks. Either add more sauce to each bowl or more meat mixture. For such a high price per bowl I am disappointed. If you mix the bowl you get barely any flavor. The rice isn’t even coated. I would eat here just for the boa if they were labelled though, amazing taste in them.
Very over priced for the quality. Appreciated the service given and it is really nice to have a dim sum place in town, but for what you are getting it’s really steep. There is no actual location either so you’re not paying for a dine in experience..... I don’t like to leave bad reviews but we just really were not impressed. The Mongolian beef bao was ground beef which also really threw me off. The pork was tasty, but locally I have had much better and not with the price tag attached.
This is the second time we've ordered and both times they've gotten our order completely wrong. This is far too expensive to be given completely wrong food. Ordered the 12 pack of bao. 6 veggie, 3 cheese burger and 3 beef. Got 2 veggie, 1 cheese burger and the rest beef? Unfortunately we will not be ordering again.
Super yummy Bao! BBQ is the best. Their orange chicken is also really solid.
I literally have no idea what these other reviews are talking about. This food was GOOD! I got a super yummy teriyaki rice bowl and a couple bao and they were delicious! It was fresh and delicious. Finally a good option for dim sum in Reno!
Quick, flavorful and unique but very expensive for average quality. Still very good and I recommend to try!
Food was gross - like it came out of a vending machine and they had been cooked 2 days prior. I've been to numerous proper Dim Sum places around the world and in China, and these buns (bao) are a cheap imitation. Trust me, I wanted to like it, but I couldn't even eat some of them (the Mongolian one was abhorrent).
This is not a storefront. Ordered from Uber thinking i would be trying a new restaurant in town, but ended up pulling up in front of the Sizzler. There was no signage indicating that it was also Wow Bao, or at least pick up for Wow Bao.My mistake; I didn’t look at the food before leaving the restaurant, I just wanted to get home after a long day. When I opened the food at home, I was shocked to see that the food all looked preheated, like it was a whole frozen meal just heated up together. The bao buns still had the packaging on the bottom. There was no indication as to which box contained which bao (just had to break them open). Airplane food. Completely not worth the $40 I paid for the meal. Due to the dog food look of the meal, we ended up not eating it.Bottom line: Completely misleading information on the delivery app, the storefront, and even the Wow Bao website, which says that they only have delivery at the Sparks location, no indication that they just teamed up with the Sizzler and sent them frozen premade meals that they could just heat up and market as a completely different restaurant. The food looked and tasted awful. Not worth the money we will never get back.

I ordered delivery, so I can I my review as far as the food. I ordered 6 buns, their Berkshire pork, spicy Mongolian beef and Teriyaki Chicken. The dough was delicious, soft and fluffy, however the fillings were rather monotone in flavor. The overwhelming flavor I had was cilantro, which I certainly was not expecting in the bao. It was even in the King Pao Chicken. Now I don't think the food was bad, if you like cilantro, you would probably enjoy this interesting fusion cuisine, but if you want something more authentic, I would try somewhere else.
