Their response was so quick, they were so helpful and kind. The goodies were delivered when they said they would be and were perfect! Everything was delicious! “Will start off by saying the food was great! However the hostess was another story. Recwntly had dinner on 8/11/24. The hostess would not let us sit at the table to start ordering drinks because we were missing 2 out of the 8 people in our group. needless to say we already had 6 ready to be seated. once we were seated the table next to us had the umbrella slanted. this caused the table to fly over from a gust of wind shattering a plate and cutting my leg. the stay was kind enough to provided a wipe and some bandaid. We continued our night until the hostess decided to empty water cups from other guest into the flower bed behind us. Which then caused the dirt to splash up on one of our guest white shirts and be covered in mud. A smug sorry was replied out. As stated before the food was terrific and the wait staff was great but the hostess needs to be replaced.“

“Erin did a fantastic job on our wedding cake and cupcakes! We wanted a little something different (a very deep burgundy vintage heart cake) and she blew it out of the water! I have always felt like cake just tastes like, well, cake haha. But the cake Erin made was genuinely SO GOOD. We received so many compliments on our cake. The cupcakes she made were gluten free and those got tons of compliments too! Would highly recommend Tahoe Love Bakery!“

“Emailed the bakery from the SF Bay Area a few weeks before the event and ordered a custom cake for my birthday weekend in South Lake Tahoe. They responded promptly as what their website says ( days minimum response time) and was able to confirm my order after a few days of back and forth with the design and flavor via email. I decided on a 6in round black and white cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Paid for it over the phone and picked it up an hour earlier than my pick up time (i called and asked if i can pick up earlier). It was sooo beautiful and delicious! We all loved it! Thank you Sugar Pine Bakery!!! You made me so happy!“

“We come up every winter and have been coming here for the past 5 years because it's definitely a local gem that everyone has to checkout at least once. It never disappoints. This place is awesome because:

1.) Hands down, THE best pizza in South Lake Tahoe with great speciality options.
2.) Amazing craft beer options that are changed regularly.
3.) Free pool and pinball!! (My kid learned to play pool here when he was 6 years old.)
4.) Always great music, chill vibe and atmosphere.
5.) Last but not least, the owner is very cool and always makes us feel at home.

We think we found pizza heaven in Tahoe. Drop by, get some great pizza & beer, play pool & pinball, and be happy. You won't regret it.“

“We got there right before closing and they were packed but they managed to get us a table. Turned out great . The atmosphere was warm the music was nice The musician was talented. We were in the same room and you could still have a conversation I appreciated that. We got lucky that night getting the table without reservations and that late. Thank you 1862!“
