“Always a pleasure to visit. It's half of the reason I always make a special trip up to Virginia City whenever I'm in Reno (the other being the gorgeous scenic drive to and from). So many delicious things to choose from, but it's the incredible candy apples for me. Delicious treats with a side of excellent friendly customer service. Cannot recommend highly enough!“

“My spouse and I absolutely love visiting Barrel O Candy in Virginia City. It has become one of our favorite places to indulge in some sweet treats. On our last visit, we had the pleasure of being assisted by two lovely young ladies who were incredibly helpful. We were spoilt for choice with the variety of flavor taffy candies they had to offer. It was such a delightful experience selecting different flavors and filling our bucket with a rainbow of taffy flavor candies. The friendly and knowledgeable staff only added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Barrel of Candy has truly become a destination for us to satisfy our sweet tooth and create wonderful memories together.“

“Lori helped me surprise my husband with his favorite chocolate cake for his birthday. The chocolate cake, chocolate mousse filling and the chocolate frosting were all perfect in every way. She also topped it off with his favorite candy, peanut m&m’s. Lori was very polite and super easy to work with. Lori’s Piece of Cake will always be my go to for cakes. “I always love going to get a ham&cheese or one of their many many unique pastries. Even the bagels are not your average bagels. You have to go check this place out, and be sure to go as early as you can, because the secret is out and they may sell out everyday too!“

“The best quesabirrias I've ever had. The consome is so savory and flavorful. The chicken quesadillas are also wonderful. The aguas frescas are super delicious and they have a great candy selection that my kids absolutely love. Great customer service too.“
