This place was very mid food wise. It was ok, kind of bland, very white-person Mexican food. My biggest problem was that it was expensive for only ok food. Like $17 for a pretty bland burrito. If it was like $10, it would have been less upsetting.

Ok I’m a trucker and love Mexican food legit came here because I seen it had 4.3 star rating and immediately was disappointed with the food service was great ! However I ordered the enchiladas usually a tasty treat except this time my dinner for a fact came out of a microwave 🤮 nothing fresh about it! I would not recommend this place go to the McDonald’s across the road at least your food would have more flavour! Also note I’m a huge foodie ….. service was good and staff was friendly

Dinner combination had a good chile relleno and the fried ice cream was very well done!
Pretty good and excellent customer service. Tortillas could be a little fresher
Came in from out of town and stopped by here. Great place, atmosphere and food!

Not really authentic Mexican food, this is more like Tex Mex. That being said it was still pretty good. The asada has a lot of flavor. I will come back next time I'm in Winnemucca.

I was driving through, heading to SLC from Lake Tahoe and decided to stay at the Holiday Inn. Stopped by Dos Amigos for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The food was great and the servings were much bigger than I anticipated (loved that). The margaritas were delicious, strong, and much cheaper than I thought they'd be. The service was awesome, our waitress was very kind and obviously knew the menu very well. I was so pleasantly surprised with the place! I was nervous to stop here because it seems to be in the middle of nowhere (I'm from New Jersey), but I felt right at home. The ladies at the table across from us seemed to know the chef, and he seemed super kind and sat with them and some other tables and chatted. All in all, id absolutely recommend Dos Amigos for anyone passing through. I'll make sure to stop next time I'm on i80 for sure.

We arrived in Winnemucca after dark. As we checked into our hotel, the desk clerk recommended Dos Amigos. I entered the lobby of the hotel which hosts the restaurant (Holiday Inn Express), I was glad I wasn’t staying there, as the smell of raw sewage was obvious and objectionable. Not finding the restaurant in the lobby of the hotel, I went into the casino to look for the restaurant. After running the smoky gauntlet of the casino, I arrived at the restaurant. Fortunately, the restaurant itself did not smell of raw sewage or cigarette smoke. Ordering was easy, and the food came out quickly. Being in Nevada, getting margaritas to go was fine; we ordered two jumbo margaritas.
I had a chicken burrito and my wife had shrimp tacos. We also had chips with salsa, queso, and guac (the guac was very good). The food was tasty, but the burrito was cold by the time I drove 5 minutes to my hotel. The margaritas were very good (I ordered the best margs on the menu). Before tip, the bill was $65.41. I wouldn’t enthusiastically recommend Do Amigos, but I might stop by for a take out order the next time I pass through Winnemucca.

We were passing through Winnemucca on our way to the Bay Area and my daughter wanted Mexican food. So we did take out from this place. She said it was the best quesadilla that she never eaten. Great service and fast. Keep up the great work
