Nice diner in the winnimucca inn casino. No online ordering you can probably call ahead or play some slots while you wait if you want to get it to go. The chicken fried steak was great and loved the mashed potatoes. Vegetables were steamed and very soft and delicious. Hearty meal breading on steak was fantastic with the gravy.

Good food. The wife had the club sandwich. The thing was huge.I had the chicken fried steak. It was good.You can get the salad bar with your entrée but it'll cost you 10.95.I thought that was a little steep. I'm glad I asked about that. Went with a house salad.All in all, it's pretty good. We're local, we'll be back.

I had their "Signature Burger" and it was great!. Nice and juicy, full of flavor. The seasoned fries were good too. Definitely hit the spot.

This was the best place to eat in town. Easy access reasonable prices and food was good. Waitress was top notch as well.
We stopped in here at the Garden Cafe in Winnemucca on our way Westbound on the 80 headed from Elko. It's a good stopping point as there's not many other towns out here on the 80 with better food choices. Battle Mountain has great gas prices, but not as much for food.We're seated just fine and just water to drink at this point in the day with a lot of driving ahead. I got the chicken fried steak and my friend got an omelet served with hashbrowns. Two coffees as well, were kept refilled just fine.All the food was good, normal coffee shop quality. Service was friendly as well, I'd stop here again passing thru on the 80.

Totally fine. The service was great. Our waitress was very lovely. The food wasn't anything special, but it filled the gap. Travellers, just beware about the smoking inside. When you're not used to it, it's pretty overwhelming.
