Good food. The wife had the club sandwich. The thing was huge.I had the chicken fried steak. It was good.You can get the salad bar with your entrée but it'll cost you 10.95.I thought that was a little steep. I'm glad I asked about that. Went with a house salad.All in all, it's pretty good. We're local, we'll be back.
We stopped in here at the Garden Cafe in Winnemucca on our way Westbound on the 80 headed from Elko. It's a good stopping point as there's not many other towns out here on the 80 with better food choices. Battle Mountain has great gas prices, but not as much for food.We're seated just fine and just water to drink at this point in the day with a lot of driving ahead. Nice diner in the winnimucca inn casino. No online ordering you can probably call ahead or play some slots while you wait if you want to get it to go. The chicken fried steak was great and loved the mashed potatoes. Vegetables were steamed and very soft and delicious. Hearty meal breading on steak was fantastic with the gravy.
