“The food here was excellent. Haven’t been to this spot in a long time, since we don’t live in Nevada but the food was just as good & the atmosphere the same as we remember. I had the Chilaquiles and it was excellent. My wife got the oatmeal and it didn’t taste just right. The server didn’t even hesitate and she got us a freshly made bowl with an apology and an extra crêpe for free. Man that service! thank you for the good food and conversation. God bless you folks!“

“Hearty portions cooked from the heart. You can tell pride in quality of ingredients as well as presentation and service.We had the chicken bacon ranch on a croissant with sprouts. Next time I will sub jalepenos for sprouts. Buttery, delicious, big enough portions to share but so good I didn't want to ;) Jalepeno popper burger was cooked to perfection on a soft sweet bun.Special fry sauce with house cut style fries is on point!Family has had rolled ice cream many times before.Friendly and quick service, quality ingredients... delicious. “We came in late for dinner. Almost 9 pm. Everything around closes around 9, but they are open until 11. Found the Grand Cafe rather than the Garden Cafe. They seem to have remodeled.
It didn't take too long to notice they were short-staffed, and some customers couldn't seem to handle the short wait. The staff were all remarkably friendly, especially considering how hectic it got shortly after we arrived.
JC and Jaimie seated us and served us. Both of whom were simply delightful. I can not emphasize enough how thoroughly we enjoyed our visit here.
The food was terrific. We had the grilled chicken sandwich, the fettuccine, and the french dip. The fettuccine especially was fantastic. It was one of the best I've had in a long time.
I have to say again just how delightful the staff were. They were clearly doing everything they could while short-staffed. The effort to quality service and a friendly atmosphere was ever apparent.

“The name, as well as the owners, I believe, has recently changed. It's now the Silver Peak Bar & Grill. They're open 11:00am to 9:00pm weekdays. The food is delicious, the staff members were all very friendly, and everything was clean. The garlic parmigian fries were so delicious, I'd stop on the way through again just for them.“

It’s a chain with a menu that assumes you know what they’re famous for. The server was friendly, but she had a lot of territory to cover. It’s worth a try… but be prepared to wait.“
