A great store with a variety of items and a high-quality deli. It’s the only store in the hamlet of Adirondack, and it makes a great mid-way stop if you’re cycling around Schroon Lake starting in the downtown of the hamlet of Schroon Lake.
Great soup and sandwich lunch today with lots of friendliness and care.
Our first time there. It's cold out, and as soon as we walked in, I was thinking our friends found a Hallmark movie filming location. A wood stove was heating in the middle of the store. Clean and well layout considering it's an old, well maintained building and products neatly shelved. They introduced us here for breakfast. It was a wonderful experience. The food was great for the price. Our waitress even asked how we like our food cooked, specifically hashbrowns, cornbeef-hash well done, crispy, or just done? I felt like I was home, and Aunt May was treating us. A further looked through the store after breakfast, I found they have a deli and food items conveniently there. It was a pleasant experience ☺️. I highly recommend a visit.
Cute store with a little bit of everything. Charming eating area. I grabbed a garden salad to go with crab cake. Delicious!
We had omelets, very good. Service was great. This was my second time for breakfast
I love this place! The Adirondack General Store has the best breakfast around. They have so many items for sale, (they are a general store) I dare you to browse the merchandise and not buy anything. The service is great and the quality of the food is too.
Awesome breakfast, very friendly owner and staff. They really look after you and care about the quality of the food.
Very, very disappointed with lack of merchandise, souvenirs, etc. as a General Store based on reviews. We did not dine, and I know a lot of reviews are focused on that, but also mention the cuteness inside, which we all found extremely lacking. If you're looking for a better general store in the Adirondacks, may I suggest Crossroads a few miles south on Valentine Pond Road. Much, much wider selection of actually interesting cutesy Adirondack merchandise. They also have ice cream and a deli.
Great old school Adirondack general store vibe. Quality food options made with fresh ingredients. Perfect as a local hangout or destination for shopping or dining. Pleasant welcoming staff.
umm.. one ticket to brunch city please??? gagging (in a good way lol!) for the food the vibe and honestly just everything here. LOVE! ??

Great store! Lots of souvenirs & Adirondack items
Good lunch, casual service, fun destination. Try the baked goods--they're excellent!
The store has great snacks, souvenirs, decorations, as well as yummy breakfast and lunch options. There's outdoor dining and indoor dining with friendly servers. The sandwiches and burgers are fresh and reasonably priced. There's a good selection of alcohol and beverages to purchase and take to go as well as cute Adirondack souvenirs. The store is neat and clean and a good place to purchase essentials.
Excellent breakfast
Stopped by for a sub. Our second time in two weeks. Wife and I were out for drive. Coming back from Saratoga Springs. We had stopped here a week ago out of curiosity and really liked the deli fresh made subs. Our decision was quick when I asked if my wife if she’d like another turkey sub. The place has an old time setting from inside and out. There is an area for dining inside if that’s your pleasure. The county store has Adirondack themed gifts. There is a small selection of groceries as well as beer and wine and a candy counter. The people are very friendly.
