This place is what the name says: a store carrying a general pantry and products with a heap of Adirondack charm. I recommend stopping here whether you’re a local on the east-side of Schroon in need of some quick groceries or someone who’s just visiting the area.They have a small dining area and deli bar which I haven’t tried yet. They also carry a selection of Adirondack-style clothing, knick knacks, and furnishings, though those things, as usual, are a little pricey. The owner and her sister were friendly and made the place a delight.

Absolutely phenomenal deli sandwiches. One of the best Rubens I’ve ever had. Staff is so friendly, and there’s lots of interesting souvenirs. (Not the place to go if you need a lot of household goods, since their supply is pretty meager — you’re better off making the trip to Topps in Schroon Lake for actual grocery shopping.)
