Great food, amazing people, warming atmosphere , just love this place.

This place is what the name says: a store carrying a general pantry and products with a heap of Adirondack charm. I recommend stopping here whether you’re a local on the east-side of Schroon in need of some quick groceries or someone who’s just visiting the area.They have a small dining area and deli bar which I haven’t tried yet. In the fall, the Adirondack General Store does dinners. They offer an uncommon experience that is rare to find these days. If you want a good home cooked meal in a cozy old time general store, this place is it! Diane and Rich are focused on keeping everyone happy and their commitment to friendly service shines through.
