A cute little coffee shop in downtown Albany. The coffee was delicious.
Coffee was excellent, I got it with an espresso shot to make sure it got the job done, it did. The waitress had that beautiful morning tone that went perfect to setting that cafe vibe.

What a lovely place! It did take me a couple trips around the block and some bad parallel parking to find a parking spot but once I did, it was a great. The menu is simple and they offered 3 flavored syrups as options so don’t come if you’re looking for a fru fru (spelling? I made it up) coffee drink. My maple latte was delicious and the foam design was just what I was looking for. I also spent an hour in the comfy chairs in the front window and I will absolutely return.

This is my second time here.
I returned because my coffee was ok, but more importantly the service was Good. Finding kindness in Albany is nearly impossible tbh.
Today, a holiday, it was rather busy. The girl was flustered at times, though never rude.
It's So cold & rainy today and I desired *Hot* chocolate. As I saw her completing the drink, I walked towards the payment area. She ignored me, so I went to the drink pick up station as she heralded my name. I was ignored there as well & finally she directed me to the payment area. This was Odd behavior & not how one earns a tip.
The drink I received was tepid at best. I asked for a new one, which is Barely any warmer. When I received the do-over, there was no... standard basically. The decoration was barely existent in my foam, which was okay. However, when she placed the drink on the counter, it sloshed then spilled into the saucer. She did not clean this up.
The funny thing is, I watched her do this for Literally the next person - was she 'Virtue Signaling' that I was only worthy of inferior service in her esteem?
Now, as I sit here with my iced chocolate ?, I see she is capable of both courtesy & professionalism. She has had kindness and ease with everyone she has served since.
#Shame.

The best coffee shop in Albany. Gorgeous, minimal aesthetic. Great service. Excellent coffee. If you are from out of town, skip your free hotel coffee and come here!! A real pleasure on Pearl St.

Cute little place that I’m a regular at. They make their own bakery items, syrups and I believe they even roast their own beans! The service is always good but obviously not on the same level as chick-fil-a which some people seem to expect in the reviews here lol. They’re a fantastic coffee place with an owner that should be proud on how genuine they are. In a world full of fake Panera bakeries and corporate Starbucks coffee, Alias brings a breath of fresh air to the cafe scene of the capitol region.

I came here for a business meeting the first time I visited the shop and found that this is some of the best coffee that I've had in downtown Albany in a long time. Their cappuccinos are out of this world and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I can't wait to try other items in the menu.

The espresso here is stellar. Ordered a honey oat milk latte. Full body flavor, not overly sweet. Per the barista, they use local honey which is such a solid step for quality and local supporting local. I’m really impressed. Chocolate croissant warmed up was crispy, soft and buttery… all the good
