“A jewel of a discovery. When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. Oh, and the hot sake is splendid and at $6/bottle an unbeatable value. SO happy to know they are just around the corner. Sorry bao buns place but you lose, SakeCafe wins.“

“My husband and I have been coming here for over five years. We eat in on occasion but order take out a few times per month. They have consistently had the most amazing food, service, and atmosphere. I get emotional thinking about it really, I’m just so grateful to have a staple like this in our neighborhood. Couldn’t recommend it any higher. Massaman curry is my personal favorite!“

“Fantastic sushi! The "sushi for two" could easily be sushi for three, and the variety in that option is perfect for anyone with a mild tempermant in regards to flavoring and fish choices. Inviting and friendly environment, would highly recommend.

“Takeout. My husband got me the Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice and it was delicous. This place is on average about $6 more than other Chinese restaurants but the food is even more flavorful than others I have been to (plus the serving size is more especially on the meat!). I am West Indian and I love spicy, marinated, flavorful food and this dish didn't disappoint!

My husband got himself the General TSO chicken. I tried this too. Loved the flavor but I felt like it was missing the sweet side. My husband agreed too that it was missing a bit of the sweet flavor but he liked it nonetheless.

He said the chef and staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable on the dishes to give recommendations based on individual needs/appetite. We usually dont write reviews, despite eating at many places each week. However, we are writing this review because we will certainly be going back and think others should know about this place!

“Spent Valentine’s Day here and the food was absolutely delicious!!! The dragon roll and takoyaki were amazing! The unagi sashimi was to die for and lastly the chicken katsu was incredible. We loved our time especially the owners Yuki is amazing as well as the rest of the staff. We found our new treat yourself spot and look forward to give Yuki (the GOAT) another warm hug ❤️❤️“

“we love tengu asian bistro! it's our favorite place for sushi! especially today...I think we received the best grab Rangoon ever!! idk what is different about it, but it almost tastes like there's a coconut flavor in them as well as the dipping sauce. they were great to begin with, but whatever was done differently today was even better, keep doing it!“

“We went with our friends for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice. Our server Steven is very sweet snd attentive. He helped us with food and drink recommendation. The food he recommended are all very delicious. We love the lettuce wrap, garlic noodle, firecracker shrimp especially the new item black pepper mignon steak.“

“Definitely stands out at the food court. Very unique flavors for a traditional corn dog. Got the spicy Cheeto and the churro. Both were surprisingly delicious. Want to try the ramen flavor for next time we go. Didn’t use the express order section, but wish I tried it to see if it was a more convenient way of ordering. Definitely recommend for anyone that loves trying something new, and who obviously loves corn dogs.“
