We ordered alot apps because we were in a bit of a hurry, plus a couple desserts to bring home. Everything on the mezze platter was so good...had to order more flat bread to make sure we left nothing behind, loved the housemade dolmas, excellent lamb chops, the mussels were perfectly cooked and the broth was perfectly seasoned...I could go on and on. Everything was fantastic, authentic and the service was top notch. This is a capital district gem for sure. Go here. I will be back for sure.

Overall a fantastic experience. Elegant dining room, quality service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. Perfect for a date or upscale business meeting. Window in floor with view of large wine cellar. At 2:30 pm on a Saturday we had the restaurant all to ourselves. Reservations were easy to make. One member of my party indicated the kalamaria was the best they have ever eaten and they regularly order calamari when they go out to eat. Delicious vegetarian options. Worth noting that there is a seperate, more casual, menu with gyros for the taverna. We ordered only from the regular diner menu and dessert menu.

The food was excellent. The noise was quite loud including a crying baby who the mother had difficulty quieting down. The waiter wasn't very attentive especially when it came to serving our dessert.

My friend and I are eating here and it was a spur of the moment decision but we were able to get a reservation. Not having dined here before, we didn't have any expectations. We arrived and the place was pretty busy, but they have a dedicated parking lot so parking was a breeze. At the hostess area, you can view the wine cellar through a window in the floor which was impressive. After being seated and viewing the menu, we knew we wanted the Traditional Greek Salad and ordered the small size which was plenty for the two of us to share. We then ordered an assortment of apps including the Baba Ganoush, Kalamarakia , Rolà , and the Lamb Chop Lollipops. Everything was absolutely fantastic!!! The Rolà was so light and delightful...the lamb lollipops were divine...the warm pita and baba ganoush - omg! And the white cream sauce that came with the calamari - which was cooked perfectly! - was lip smacking good!!! However, the ambiance and the service was also Phenomenal! Our server was Connor and he was thoughtful and friendly going out of his way to make sure we had the best experience!! I will definitely eat here again and I highly recommend you eat here too!!

A quiet early Monday evening. Comfortable atmosphere in the booths in the bar. House wines are quite good. Filled ourselves with delicious appetizers - made a meal of a variety. Everything is well prepared and service is great.

Amazing restaurant. We always stop on our way to our cabin upstate for dinner and they are incredibly accommodating to us since many times we arrive just when the kitchen is closing. Delicious greek food! And very good greek wine! I highly recommend it!

The food and service at Athos never disappoint. Verdat and his team do everything possible to ensure diners are enjoying their food and experience at their establishment. Last night, they made a point of recognizing my 100th visit to Athos, and it was very appreciated. The team has done a great job extending the legacy of Athos.
