Our dinner was wonderful! The food was hot and delicious! The staff is engaging and receptive to our needs! The owner is friendly and visits tables to speak with guests! The bartender is pleasant and goes above and beyond! We often visit Athos for dinner on Saturday evening and family celebrations!

Athos was an A+ Easter experience. Food was outstanding, including Greek salad, various octopus dishes,,eggplant, and Keftedakia. Our server, Grace, was super. She was most knowledgeable about the wine and menu offerings while also being personable and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Love the food here. I picked the lamb shank with orzo/ just wonderful. Husband got the lamb souvlaki-very succulent; cooked perfectly. Celebrated Easter and my brother's birthday- he had the Easter special lamb with salad and buttered mashed potatoes, so delicious. We shared a split of champagne and I had the red wine from Crete and he enjoyed a Malbec. A great way to celebrate with family. Highly recommend $$$

The salmon scaloppini was delicious. My dining companion had the chicken Souvlaki and was very happy with her dish as well. The staff were all very nice and attentive. Overall it was an excellent dining experience. I will definitely go back.

Loved everything at Athos. The staff and owner were attentive. The food was fine... And the atmosphere was just perfect above the normal but not too stuffy.

Moussaka, Lamb Shank lacked flavor and even the salad was tasteless or perhaps not seasoned. The check was incorrect as it had upcharges for my martinis that I did not request or receive. We were promised a table in the main dining room and instead were seated in a small unattractive room off the main dining room. No bread or relish on the table even after we had our drinks for a half hour. I spoke with the manager re the drink up charges and he said he said something about a free drink the next time I come in. I wonder how that works?

Here for the fourth time. We are usually here one or twice a year for our love one birthday. Food is good. A lot of heathy and delicious choice. Grace was our server this time and she’s amazing. Hanna the host’s very lovely. They both help us with a birthday surprise. Very happy with our experience.

Our evening was a reunion. We were seated in a private room. There were ten people. The server was attentive and respectful. We lingered after a great meal. We talked and there was no pressure for us to leave. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect for what we needed.
This restaurant is truly amazing! The owner adds a personal touch working alongside staff! He offers guest a wArm welcome as though you are walking into his home! The staff are gracious and mimick the leadership of the owner! We especially enjoy Grace, but all staff are engaging and helpful! The food choices add a selection is broad enough for all palettes! Always hot when it's supposed to be and cold when that is the choice! Bringing some unique recipes to the Capital District! The restaurant is clean, and formal with a casual comfortibitty! It is the perfect blend of bar/main dinning room! We have utilized the side room for large family gatherings and have felt as though we're at home, lots of individual attention and privacy,! We look forward to utilizing the larger private/special occasion room upstairs in the near future! So happy this restaurant is close enough to frequently visit!
