I grew up eating homemade banh mi, and was very impressed with this shop, which makes authentic tasty banh mi on fresh bread.They have some innovative options, especially the french-dip style banh mi, and have managed to innovate without losing sight of the traditional flavor of the banh mi.It's a great size for a lunch portion, a little small for dinner.When I accidentally chose the wrong pick-up time in UberEats, they were very kind to help me fix it, rather than tell me to come back later.Support this great local business!

A wow for your palate. Inexpensive. Savory and sophisticated flavors delivered in unpretentious package. Healthy portions of protein and root veggies inside this roll. This is my fourth visit, food is consistently superior, meat is juicy, veggies fresh. Worth visiting this neighborhood just for this.

I was born and raised in Vietnam, and i have a standard to my banh mi. I’ve tried many banh mi shops in the U.S but Banh Mi 47 is by far my favorite. The bread is the star here! The crust is thin and fluffy just like a banh mi should be! Probably the most authentic bread i’ve ever had! You cant just slaps some cold cut meat on a bread anh call it banh mi, no! It has to be thin, chewy, fluffy and flavorful. They give a proportional amount of filling to compliment the bread too. Cold cut ham banh mi is my favorite. I still dream about their banh mi sometimes. The service is friendly and the shop is very clean, seems very cozy too.
Delicious banh mi sandwiches. We had the #1 (signature mix), #6 lemongrass chicken, and #9 grilled lemongrass pork, Vietnamese iced coffee, and peach boba tea. Sandwiches were tasty and well-made. Iced coffee could be stronger brew and flavor. Peach boba was okay.Enjoyed and would recommend the sandwiches!

Hands down best beef sub in Albany!!!!!!!!! Every time I've ordered the sub packs nothing but freshness from the grilled steak to the veggies they use. ALL FRESH!!!!! Only issue, and not their fault at all, is the parking. There never is any!!!

#7 tofu bahn mi was ok. I didn't get the lemongrass at all, and the jalapeños weren't hot, so lacking some flavor. Nice roll. Black sesame boba interesting and not too sweet.

Absolutely amazing sandwiches!!! My wife was hesitant, being not too familiar with Banh Mi. After her sandwich, she said it was her favorite meal of the weekend! The bread is truly to die for. Couldn't have asked for more.

They got some authentic taste but there’s problems I experienced with delivery service. so there’s actually no head cheese(show in description) included in “the special” i recieved, also the hot coffee I recieved iz not 10 oz as promising, it comes very cold and only 4/1 of the cup, maybe2-3oz, like a expresso amount (but iz hot coffee with scm, not espresso).I did went to the store before and I liked the food I had there, but idk why, the delivery order is really disappointing

As a person who has grown up on grabbing a Banh Mi before every long family car ride and a Pate So as a childhood meal, Banh Mi 47 really checks all the boxes for an AUTHENTIC Vietnamese lunch. The flavors are right on point to exactly how I remember it and makes me think of home. Will definitely be coming here when I need a quick taste of home.
