This place has much more than the name (and description here) would suggest--breakfast sandwiches, muffins, even cookie dough bites. And, despite it featuring my eternal pet peeve of just writing "egg" etc. on the menu, this place is 100% vegan, and 100% delicious.

I have been a Bare Blends fan since they opened their first location attached to the Hot Yoga Spot in Albany. I love trying all the new flavors and menu items as they are added. Truly nothing disappoints! Having so many locations around the capital district, I know I can always count on having access to delicious vegan food. My non-vegan friends and family have all made it a regular stop in their lives as well! The new Stuyvesant is so cozy and is now offering a variety of sizes on both original and new menu items. I’m currently loving the avocado toasts with Eggy salad on top, their iced strawberry matcha lattes, and of course my all time favorite- Harry’s pb&j bowl! The staff is always friendly, willing to offer helpful suggestions, and efficient. 10/10 recommend checking out this woman-owned business with a focus on whole food, plant-based nutrition. No matter what you order, the house made items with locally sourced ingredients won’t let you down!

Great build-your-own smoothies! Love that the menu offers egg and sausage items but doesn’t clearly specify that everything is vegan 😀 The interior seating arrangement is awkward but the food was good!

I prefer bowled. The staff seems new. I ordered an acai bowl and it was very liquid like soup... Definitely not worth the prices

If you want food from here, I recommend pre ordering and not walking in, at least at noon. I ordered one sandwich with no modifications at 12:11 pm. I finally received it at 12:41. There were 4 people working their butts off. They were polite and friendly. It didn't look that busy in terms of customers in the building.
The food is good, great portion for the price 🙏🏾😍 and the mixed of flavors are delightful. This is a proof that vegan options doesn't mean boring or expensive.

I really like this place but I've had a repetitive issue with this specific location giving me old salads when I order ahead. So, twice they've given me salads out of their 'grab and go' instead of preparing it fresh. The 1st time was really disappointing because the lettuce was melted and 100% inedible. They gave me a refund but then it happened again! They gave me a salad from their grab and go with an expiration and price tag on it. With this one, the guacamole was brown although otherwise it was edible. When I order a salad, I want a fresh salad! I've eaten alot of their salads and its so much better fresh. For 13.50 all I ask is please make it fresh! I'll get sushi across the plaza instead, at least it's fresh. You gotta change this old salad policy, it sucks!

I've tried this place twice because it's super convenient to go to after my workout classes. My first time I ordered a build your own bowl that did not taste good at all. I figured it tasted off because of my choices, so I tried a smoothie my second time from right off the menu, no alterations, and the fruit they used was so unripe that it was incredibly sour, bitter and completely undrinkable! I had to throw away a nearly $10 drink. Plus, both times I went in the employees were terribly rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by being there, which I don't know why because I went in both times around 9:30-10am when there were barely any other customers.
I never-ever write reviews but my experience here was so bad I had to make an exception. If the owner reads this - I'm sorry I really gave it a fair shot but I will not be coming back.
