Tonight I decided to take advantage of the Family Takeout Special at Cafe Calabria II, I worked all day and didn’t feel like cooking but also didn’t want fast food. Well, I made an excellent decision! The food was amazing, I opted for the Chicken Sorento and even my picky little ones devoured it; it was truly delicious! The eggplant and chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They were both still warm and crispy despite being driven 25 minutes from the restaurant to my house and being covered it a mouth watering, savory marinara sauce and bubbly melted mozzarella. 😋 for the price, I couldn’t have made it cheaper myself at home. 10/10 recommend!
On 3/22/25, my family held a private lunch in honor of my daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law. All in attendance were warmly welcomed by staff and owner, Sandra. The food was AMAZING! Every dish was outstanding in flavor and authenticity. I cannot say enough about their food. Just go and try it. The restaurant is beautiful and its location even better. Although they are not open on Saturdays for lunch, it was truly hospitable for Sandra to open its doors to our family and arrange/set a wonderful buffet style luncheon. My family enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend you visit Café Calabria II and, ask for the pineapple cheesecake for dessert...its wow!
They have the best eggplant parm I’ve ever had. Also, their sauce is over the top. ❤️❤️
The best Italian restaurant so far. Great service.

From the moment we stepped into Cafe Calabria, we were enfolded in an atmosphere of warmth and elegance. We were seated immediately in a beautifully lit and immaculately clean space, adorned with tasteful decor that set the perfect tone for the evening. Our delightful waitress promptly welcomed us with a paradisal loaf of Italian bread. The olive oil dipping plate was an inspiration, featuring a generous, pesto-laden circle of flavor that was pure permissiveness.
For our appetizer, we couldn't resist the Eggplant Rollatini, and it exceeded every expectation. Each bite was a symphony of light, fluffy textures and rich, savory complexities that left us in awe. On to the main courses, the Burrata Ravioli was a rich and creamy delight, while the Tortellini Pana offered a satisfying interplay of flavors. Every bite was a celebration of freshness and flavor, delivering a dining experience that was as supremely satisfying as it was delicious.
To finish, I indulged in a perfectly brewed espresso, which provided the ideal conclusion to an unforgettable meal. Cafe Calabria has truly mastered the art of Italian dining. I can't wait to return.

We had a graduation party in their room upstairs. Owner and waiter were so friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Everyone said they would definitely be back to eat there again. We had a drink at the bar afterwards and it’s a lovely bar. We will be back again.

We just tried Cafe Calabria II for the first time ever and decided shortly into our meal that we will be repeat and regular customers. We loved everything about our 5 STAR dining experience, from the warm and welcoming staff, to the incredibly delicious (and warm!) fresh bread with its accompanying delectable pesto sauce (wow!!!!) to the wonderful house salad (complete with delicious house made roasted red peppers, shaved parmigiana cheese and perfect balsamic house dressing) to our wonderful entrees and the fabulous desserts - the homemade cannoli and pineapple cheesecake, both of which were the best we have ever had! My husband loved his entree - the chicken parmigiana - so very much and my penne a la vodka entree was extremely delicious! The pasta was perfectly done and the sauce is so amazing you will want to lick the plate. It was an honor to meet the delightful and charming owner Sandra who, along with her very friendly and hard working staff, provided us with excellent service. We felt like VIP's and the restaurant was completely full. If you are new patrons like we were, you will enter as a stranger and leave feeling like family. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the volume level is perfect (even with a full dining room). We intend to try every dish on Cafe Calabria II's very impressive menu. Grazie mille per il delizioso pasto!

Awesome experience! I had the Seabass Marechiaro with sautéed spinach, shallots, fresh cherry tomatoes, and Kalamata olives. Best sea bass ever! So good!! My boss had the fruitte de mare and absolutely loved it! Angelina was our server and she is such a gem, just lovely! The music was perfect and created a great vibe and just made the total experience! I am putting this restaurant on my regular rotation as I can't wait to go back!

Stopped in for my 1st time this evening while traveling for work. I was immediately made at home by the entire family. The bread was served with a pesto/olive oil dipping sauce...... lovely. everything is scratch made and it shows. Well worth any wait, not that I had one. The eggplant rollatini was exceptional, and the portion was huge. I trusted Sandra and her mother to chose my entrée, and they sent out a chicken piccata that was second to none. It was prepared perfectly, and served over al dente linguine. I finished the meal with a pineapple cheese cake that was divine. It was light, gorgeous, and truly unique. The espresso they serve is worth a visit alone. I plan to be back next week on my next visit to Albany. Make the time to stop here. You won't regret it.

Went here for a dinner with my family. It took over 2 hours for our food to arrive. No one checked on us while we were waiting. By the time the food was ready we had to have them put it in to go boxes because my children were exhausted. They even forgot to add the meatballs to the linguine with meatballs. The restaurant wasn't busy. There was one large table but most of the small tables were empty. Overall the food was average but absolutely not worth a 2.5 hour wait.

I never write reviews but this one deserves it...
I hope you have 3 hours to sit and wait for mediocre food because that's exactly what you'll get if you come to this restaurant. Stay away, far away.

Went there for our anniversary sadly food took a little too long for what we ordered, and unfortunately when the food came out the clams casino were bland, the linguini with white clam sauce was also bland, The burrata cheese was very good.
