At Madison Ave it’s really gone downhill Service was slow and bad. never brought latte and potatoes were cold. They brought hot potatoes but shouldn’t they have a full brunch together at 10 ? Northern Blvd does a much better job

Cafe Madison was a very nice Cafe, we had a nice breakfast. It's actually very big inside with plenty of seating. The food was very good and the staff was friendly. If you can't parking, you can also park out back

Pros: The atmosphere was good and the service was nice. The menu was wide ranging and had something for everyone.Cons:The wait for food was pretty long and the food itself was mediocre. It was also expensive for what it was. There are definitely better optionsVegetarian options: There were vegetarian options but they were limited and not very good.

First, the good... The raspberry oatmeal pancakes might be the best stack of pancakes I have ever eaten. Incredible! Now, the not so good. Wait times on Sunday morning are over 40 minutes and because of the crowds the service is (was) subpar. Got my order wrong, no coffee refills, etc. So, plan ahead, prepare to wait and do not expect service that matches the food.

Went to Cafe Madison for brunch and ordered the Nashville Burrito without the wrap. Banging! Coffee was really tasty too. Highly recommend. You will have to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated though…but they do have a small waiting area.

No idea how this place is packed. The host was rude as heck. Turned the whole experience sour before even seeing anyone else. The other workers just watched this happen and seems to not mind. Is this the place albany wants to support of snobby over the top service and food? Not me.

Very busy on a Sunday morning. Wait for a table was only 15 minutes, or there was room at the bar to split right away. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away by our server. Put in our coffee order, and we also put an order in for the French toast sticks. We got our French toast sticks in about 10 minutes. Right as we finished them up, our breakfast came out. The timing was perfect. French toast sticks were excellent, and you could easily make a meal out of them. We ordered the Nashville hot buritto with home fries. Order of eggs with toast and hash and also home fries. All the food was hot when it came out. The buritto had a nice amount of chicken inside of it. This is a place we will go back to and would be worth waiting to get a table.

New in this town of hopes of landing a delicious breakfast. Guess that wasn't in the cards for this place. There was a male hostess but he just gave me a weird look and delt with another customer who was there first (which is fair) but then a lady hostess which was really nice assisted me since I wanted to eat at the bar. But while the gentleman working the bar seemed to be not interested in helping, I waited and waited but he didn't even acknowledge me. There was only one other person at the bar and she seemed to be waiting too. Just got up and went elsewhere.
