We always come with a 20 top and are taken care of by Ally. She is an amazing server, never makes mistakes, the food comes out perfectly (good kitchen!) and she takes these huge trays of 7-8 entrees out by herself! Shes an all star! Give her a raise! Love this place!

I have dined at this restaurant several times with my mother and experienced no issues. Yesterday, I dined there with my fiance, and halfway during our meal, I spotted a mouse or rat dash across the floor in front of me. I was not the only diner who spotted the rodent. I informed our server that we saw it, but that was it. There was no further comment or acknowledgement from the restaurant. In the best of times, it's a decent restaurant, but I won't be back for the obvious reason.

Had an amazing waiter that has been there many years. Excellent variety, well prepared. Fairly pricey but so are most places these days. Can be very busy at certain times like Sunday brunch time.

Charming, shimmery building with lovely interior. The staff was very friendly. I had the Capital City Omelete which was very, very good. I've never had cream cheese in an Omelete before and now it's my favorite ?
What a great experience. The staff was first class. Everyone, from our group of thirteen, enjoyed their meals. My wife had a very enjoyable birthday. Thank you to all.

Our whole little family met in Albany yesterday morning for a surprise 70th Birthday for my sister who lives in Vermont and wasn't able to get out of Vermont! We celebrated without her at a Greek restaurant in which we were capped since we made a reservation.! Everyone stayed over and she made it at 11 AM today 13 of us and we had another party! I could be the only one who plans a party and it snows again! All is good and a great time in Albany today! If any one is in Albany stop by the Capital City Diner who doesn't take reservations but set us up this morning when they heard what happened! They fixed our problem! ?Her son came from Maine on Friday thank goodness and we had NJ, NY and PA with us! Thank you so much Capital City Diner you guys totally Rock and made a special Birthday and everyone happy! Waitresses were great! Great food! All i can say is THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! Her daughter lives around the corner from you and my sister will be back on her visits for sure! You GET A 10 STAR FROM ME!
