I picked up an order from this restaurant for doordash, I was extremely kind and patient, it took a good 10 minutes before someone greeted me. The First Lady asked who I was picking up for and then walked away, the 2nd girl asked the same and I told her the other woman already was taking care of it and she said “no you show me the name” then said you need to wait 5 minutes and it wasn’t ready in a really nasty attitude. She repeated this 5 times and was extremely irate, I said no worries take your time and again she said “I told you 5 minutes, it’s not ready.” 20 minutes later after serving others the EXACT SAME THING as the order I was picking up, the other woman finally gave me the order. If you see a skinny middle aged woman in a red top, blue mask and headpiece run, unless you’re fine waiting 30 minutes, being ignored and then yelled at. If you’re that miserable, get therapy

Order this for delivery, first time. Ordered roasted pork shoulder, I didn’t know I was going to be served pig with legit hair still on the skin.. idk if that’s normal for Dominican food or what

Food has changes since the original owners as well as it's location, the food and service is still good. They always have different options so it's always lunch or dinner and it's always filling.

I typically get oxtail and curry goat from their mall location because they're small, meaty, no fat, tender, juicy and you get a lot. I had issues with the curry goat being underdone in the past but today I had my fiance pickup an order of oxtail for himself and curry goat for me. The goat DRY and tough. Not a drop of curry/sauce or flavor. It's like it was grilled, no baste, nothing. The worker attempted to give him the big, extra fatty oxtail they serve at their central ave location so he ordered stew chicken instead because the oxtail was straight fat. The plantains were HARD. Idk if they have a new vendor, cook or whatever but I don't recommend. The rice was good but we'll get our oxtail and curry goat elsewhere. Money down the drain bc I had to throw my goat out.

Every time I order my food is delayed by a hour. After waiting for more than a hour today and it still wasn’t ready, I told them to cancel my order. That’s the last time I’ll be ordering from them.

Will never order here again!!! Chicken was so dry and hard the rice was stale and old!!!!! I ordered chicken and rice and passion fruit and the driver literally handed me my juice. Restaurants don’t know how to package food for delivery. It should be in a bag and at least stapled!!! What if he drank or spit in my juice!!! And on top of that the wait was so long!

Greeted by friendly young man and lady. Options of food choices described patiently and kindly. Young man offered sample of one of the juice choices so that I could try it to make a decision. (Kind gesture). The plating of the food was done very nicely. Amount of food given for pricing was of good value. Food was delicious. Many options to choose from. Seating space is sufficient for a large family. Seating I needed was for 2 individuals.

Vegetarian options: There vegetarian choices visible along with the other choices.

Parking: Parking is at a mall so some walking required.

Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff and seating area good for children in strollers.

Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious to provide wheelchair accessibility. Movable chairs and booths.

The food is delicious. And the service is great. The people that serve us every time we go are so nice. There is other food that's not listed that is also delicious which is the garlic shrimps, peas, and rice, the stewed chicken and baked chicken ?. Bonappetit.

The food was delicious, tastes like home made food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I'm so happy I found this place. I would love to come back again.
A few recommendations to make it a 5 starts across the board:
#1. The food was not hot, just warm, and i got cold fast. The taste was amazing, but it was warm.
#2. Music: very boring. Would've been a great vibe with merengue, salsa and bachata. You wanna make the place fun and give people a reason to come inside. Balads will not accomplish that goal.
#3. Customer service: the servers seemed confused, and shy. They need to smile more and be energetic. They seemed to have just woken up from a nap. They were nice, but also looked sleepy. Maybe it was the music. I wish they had more energy.
