Got a Buffalo chicken wrap after an appointment and the nice women working toasted it for me. I can honestly say it's the best buffalo chicken wrap I've had. Delicious!

Food is good, especially the salad bar! The crispy chicken for the salad is great; however the tenbers are costly for what you get. The staff at the fadt food section, (burgers, fries, tenders, wouldnt give me tenders 4 minutes prior to 11. I had to be to work at 11, so I settled for chips. Nice coffe bar, I love the ice coffee! Over all, a lot of selection! The check out staff, all nice; at times there is only one cashier diring a busy time, can be inconvenient if you have a half hour lunch! It is impossible to eat that great crispy chicken salad in 15 minures, (great portion)! I will update with pictures

Wow this was a *great* hospital cafe ! They had fresh made Indian food, sushi and poke bowls as well as a fresh salad station and grill ! Definitely lives up to the healthy choices you would want at a health institution. Loves the vegetable curry and chicken tandoori!

One choice for gluten free, no scrambled eggs, they chop cook fried eggs which is gross, egg shell pieces in the egg. Rude, rude, rude. My 1st time there and "cooks" to cashier snotty and rude when I asked for help. Overpriced just because they can, certainly not because of quality service or foodDietary restrictions: Only one gluten free bread choice in the whole place and only at the grill. Could do better

Sushi is top notch here

Once again you've shrunk the portion sizes. Your salad wrap now fits in my palm.

Excellent food; especially the salad bar and soups. Very, very reasonable prices too. A large salad, bowl of soup and medium drink was under $10. Large variety of items too. Best hospital cafe I've ever been to!

Fast, cheap and with healthy options. Soups, salads, sushi, grill and pizza. Fast service and food was fresh.

Absolutely no accommodations for people with shellfish allergies. Storing shrimp directly next to all other foods in the Tavolino "fresh Italian fare" line. I was told "sorry, I can't serve you." I didn't want the other choices of food such as salads, pizza, grill. I wanted Italian chicken alfredo, but the shrimp was stored in such a way it was directly adjacent to mushrooms, the sauces, tomatoes, ALL of the ingredients. The irony of a cafe located in a hospital NOT to be accommodating to allergies, especially shellfish, is a bit concerning. Of all places, a hospital cafe SHOULD BE THE MOST AWARE AND ACCOMMODATING to people with allergies.

Great choice of foods at a healthy price from grill, to salad bar, sandwiches, sushi and special entrees. Newly remodeled and fast, a great place to eat whether you're visiting or working around.

What a sh**hole. Albany med deserves a better cafeteria. It's a hospital for chrissake-- you should have more healthy options and stop serving the same exact thing every day. Im sick of those blasted turkey sandwiches already! The pizza is usually undercooked dough and too thick. The sushi is GROSSLY overpriced for what it is, atrociously overpriced as I could get better in a restaurant for the same price. Of all the problems with this place (i mean....a hospital serving greasy burgers, friend food, pre=cooked chicken is bad enough), what adds insult to injury is that NOTHING is seasoned properly. I mean NOTHING. They do not put salt in anything which is cooking 101. You know what happens when nothing has salt? It has no TASTE. No FLAVOR. Salt is what makes your tastebuds able to appreciate the flavors of the food. It is a poor excuse to say they put no salt in the interest of being "healthy" but this is a poor lame excuse.....for starters, a normal amount of salt is essential for human diets because it has iodine, and most people with high blood pressure have it not because they are eating too much salt. It's because they dont take care of themselves-- I mean, they servce greasy -ass fries and friend chicken and burgers, but they think that SALT is the thing that is going to make their food unhealthy? I work there and I am so tired of the food there, most of it is abysmally bland and unhealthy, but Im forced to eat there because Im too tired most of the time to bring my own lunch. They are currently in the process of renovating the cafe supposedly, so I dont know what they are planning on doing, but if anyone who is a manager there actually reads this, for the love of god-- PUT SALT IN YOUR FOOD so it actually tastes like something, and give people healthier options, and use higher quality meat, not pre-cooked nasty turkey. Not pre-wrapped nasty avocados. The only good thing they used to have was the avocado toasts and fruit toasts in the morning-- actually fresh and healthy and tasty, but now with the construction all we have left is bollocks. Step it up Albany Med. You're the largest hospital for a hundred miles. You can do better with your cafeteria, not to mention cooking 101 means put salt in food. Also, stop charging nearly $4 (!!!!) for bottles of beverages-- it is highway robbery and insulting to charge people that much for a bottle of iced tea or juice. Let's hope this place changes for the better once the construction is over.

Wednesday is turkey sandwich day. Homade chips, dill mayo and tender delicious turkey carved off the bone. This is why the hospital cafeteria deserves a rating on yelp!
