This is the only place I can get gluten free donuts with a variety of flavors. Normally it's chocolate, glazed, or apple cider only. They are sooooo good. Had lemon today and it was everything I wanted. Customer service is 10/10.

I ordered a dozen donuts for an occasion. Picked them up and could not understand why they would stack the donuts on top of one another, so the ones underneath were ruined. I guess to save money on boxes? Definitely will not be back, donuts were mediocre, just pure sugar. Not much taste for flavors, was just overpowered by sugar. Definitely recommend Darling Donuts in Saratoga over this place, for sure! Just an honest review, I do not like leaving negative reviews on businesses, but the lack of thought in packaging and just a mouth full of sugar... could be better.

We chose to have a donut tower from Cider Belly at our wedding last weekend instead of a traditional wedding cake and we are so glad we did. Not only did we get top notch service and a variety of flavors, but that tower looked super fancy. They went quickly and we cannot wait to order more donuts from them in the future!

I can't believe how nice and crispy these donuts are! Crisp and crunchy on the outside, soft, moist and flavorful on the inside. The only down side was that I arrived 20 minutes before closing on a Sunday and most of their flavors were gone. It's a pity because I live two hours away and so it was my only chance until I get back to Albany. But it was worth it!

Best doughnuts I've eaten in the capital region without a doubt. The variety, is great but not overwhelming. The taste of the doughnuts is otherworldly. It's almost as if they're enchanted. The service is great, doughnut great, it's a great experience all around. The only drawback is that you only have around five hours per business day to get your fix. Most days I'm not able to make it within business hours, so it's kind of a big deal when I do! The doughnuts are well worth the trip.

Imagine walking down a sidewalk and suddenly being hit with the most amazing smell of warm donuts wafting out into the city street. That's exactly what pulled me into Cider Belly! Unfortunately, these guys are four hours from my house, but if I'm in Albany this is top on my list to visit.

I'm visiting the region and was excited to try Cider Belly Donuts. I called ahead to make sure they were open. After taking a $17 Uber ride from my hotel, I found Cider Belly closed. Odd and unexpected since I called maybe 30 min before arriving. Another guy approached the door and had the same story. A woman came to the door and explained they were closed because of worker shortage. There were trays of fresh donuts behind her. The other guy and I pointed out that we called ahead, and the woman shrugged. She also said the donuts behind her were for a large order and unavailable for purchase. She told us to go to their other shop several miles away and closed the door. So thanks, Cider Belly. I just paid $35 dollars round trip to leave empty handed. At least I got a Dunkin', I guess.

This is gourmet apple cider donuts. The base is apple cider donuts topped with various frosting. There are a number of varieties and they are pretty good but the best bang for the buck was their $1 packs that is kept near the register which has 5 to 6 small end of the batch malformed donuts but with the same good taste.

My family really loves donuts. I love them, my wife loves them, my kids love them, even our dog loves them (he's only allowed very small amounts). When my wife and I were dating, we went to four donut shops in the same day on a "donut date", and decided we would keep going on our donut date forever. While visiting family in Albany this week, we decided to find the best donuts in the downtown area where we were doing some sightseeing. We saw the reviews and pictures of Cider Belly and decided we had to pay a visit. We got downtown at 1pm on Friday afternoon, and much to our dismay, we saw that the store had a sign saying they would be closing for an extended weekend. We peeked in the door and saw that there were still three employees in the shop. Not only were we not turned away, but we were welcomed in (along with our donut-loving dog) and told that we could take everything that hadn't sold for the day home with us! We ended up with a bag of the day's remaining treats, and five boxes of day-olds, which I can assure you, were as delicious as the fresh ones we were offered. We shared our epic haul of donuts with our family and still have enough to last us through the weekend now that we're back home. I can't say enough great things about this place, and it's a guarantee that we'll be back again. Maybe around closing time... ;-)

Unique designs and flavors. Some are over-the-top sweet, but always freshly made and delicious. A favorite of locals!

Great donuts. So much variety. Glad it's so far away or I'd weigh 300 pounds! I bought a dozen and only 6 made it home - 200 miles away.
