The food was good - nothing out of this world but not bad! Kelsey the bartender however made this experience very unpleasant. Her service was catered to men at the bar, and she started cleaning / trying to wrap people up at 9:30 when the restaurant closes at 10.Erin - and nostalgia - are the only reason this place gets 3 stars.I had come here once before with a dear friend and loved it. Today was that dear friends funeral and I thought I would come here for old times sake - grateful for Erin bc I would have been so sad if this was the lasting impression I had w just Kelsey.Anyways overall this place is overrated and overpriced.

This is a general review for ALL deliveries that just happened to be sparked by our order today from City Line. Today we ordered only two dinners from City Line through Grub Hub and the order arrived with only one dinner but both dinners marked on the receipt and the bag stapled shut. With the bag stapled shut, the driver could not have taken or dropped anything from the bag so it could only be the restaurant forgetting one of the two dinners. Like I said at the beginning, this is a "general review". I say that because something is forgotten from our order (and I am not exaggerating!) a good 85% of the time!! It doesn't matter what the restaurant is or the delivery service, we actually get what we ordered one out of every 5 or 6 orders!! This happens to the point of Door Dash marking us as "habitual complainers" due to some algorithm that they have on the reviews, when we have never been anythung but completely honest. I am just really tired of it. The note at the beginning of this review tells the reviewer to take COVID into account. We have all been experiencing dealing with COVID for over 4 years now, so that is no excuse. It is just really sad the amount of pride people take in their work. Maybe they don't like their job and packing our food just seems unimportant to them or something? I don't know, but it is important to us or whoever is receiving it! The bottom line is that no one takes pride in their work anymore! As for our order from City Line today, we got reimbursed for only the price of the dinner, no fees or any of the other charges. When we went to just reorder the missing dinner again, it said that City Line was closed (I'm assuming because there were no drivers available on Grub Hub). So we ended up ordering a different dinner from a completely different restaurant and will be paying all the fees and charges again as well, if we get anything delivered at all. I very rarely write reviews of any sort but I am so done with this whole thing.

We celebrated my grand daughter’s 18th Birthday yesterday and the party was for 14. We waited until everyone got there to order our food. Our waitress was very slow. We ask for water, lemons and a kids menu about four times which he kept forgetting. Everyone got in their order and got their food however, I sat there for another 15 minutes waiting until the waiter made it back to our table. He apologize that he missed my order. Once I got the food it was disgusting tasteless food. Very expensive for the quality. Chicken tenders were $15 with no sides. A side of shortening fries were $6. Everyone did not like their food but ate half of it. My son in law had to send his steak back three times because they kept messing it up. The worst part was that half of the party woke up the next day with food poisoning. The place is beautiful but the food and staff sucks… will never go again!!

It's been about a year since I've eaten anything from City Line. Now I remember why. The fish fry was nicely battered, but just barely above room temperature. And unbelievably bland. The amount of fries included was skimpy and they, too, were barely warm. They were also limp and bland. The coleslaw might have been good, but there wasn't enough to really tell. Maybe two forkfuls loosely packed into the same size condiment cups used for the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. The tartar sauce, by the way, was the best part of the meal.

Great restaurant for lunch or dinner. Food is pretty good, and average priced for the area. Service is typically good, but can be slow if you catch them on a busy day. 100% recommend sitting on the deck weather permitting!

Food fair, sauce globbed on Nachos not even melted cheese. Service was good, our server Olivia was attentive and on top of her guests! Thank you Olivia! My review is not pleasing to most, I was at a table with a friend of mine, finished our meal paid our bill and then finishing our drinks when the " Manager" came over and asked us to leave because they had other reservations! First when is it appropriate to ask paying customers to leave? I have a child who works in hospitality at a very high end restaurant in the city and they are Not allowed to ask guests to leave under any circumstance!! I will not go back to Cityline on Western Avenue in Albany, NY. will they miss my business? No but I have a lot of friends who go there,I'll be sharing this poor treatment of customers!
