I've never had a meal that disappointed me here, and I eat here fairly often. It's a warm, friendly, family-run place where the food comes in big tasty portions that always leave me with plenty of leftovers. My personal faves are the lengua tacos and the enfrijoladas, but really you can't go wrong -- just be wary of the spice level if you're sensitive to hot stuff, because when they say "spicy," they actually mean it. Tips: the hot coffee is made (fresh to order, I'm pretty sure) with cinnamon and comes in a really cute mug. The green salsa that they sometimes bring out with the chips is much spicier than it looks, and absolutely delicious.

My favorite place for Mexican food for the past 4 years I've been in Albany. Owned by a wonderful and friendly family that serves nourishing and filling comfort food, that makes one feel at home. Especially recommend their soups, tlayuda, and beef burrito.

SO good. Literally so good. Tasted fresh, price was great, ample portions. I wish I lived closer I would eat here once a week. We picked up and drove 20 mins back home and it was still super fresh not soggy or anything. 10/10 highly recommend

A great burrito for it's price and flavor! I decided to come here and order takeout for the evening, as I wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant in the area. The place is just around Washington Square Park, and it's tucked away on the street. Interior is very homey and small--not a lot of seating, but there are definitely seats (but I probably wouldn't recommend with COVID). The food is very reasonably priced and has all the flavors there. I wish there was some type of sauce inside (my personal preference), but they do offer salsa on the side. The burrito was really great in terms of portions, and it tastes very authentic. It's also an additional plus that they include avocado in the dishes without an additional charge. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic, family-owned Mexican meal. They have a lot of lunch specials, so those are next on my list to try. (Also, for anyone ordering takeout via the Yelp app, I'd recommend going earlier rather than later to pick up the food. I ordered my food on the app at 6:25pm, and the Yelp app suggested my food was going to be ready between 7-7:15pm. I got to the restaurant at 7pm, and the food was definitely ready beforehand (food was not hot, but slightly warm).)

My mother always said if the salsa with the chips are good then they have good food. Let, me tell you something about this place the salsa is no joke especially the green one so if you don't like spicy stay away from the green. The food here is fenomenal for the price and portion and taste was like eating in Mexico authentic to the last bite all meats tender. I'll keep coming here forsure.
