Placed and order with gurbhub for delivery. They did not have one of the items, The driver had to call me and tell me that they didn't have the item and they offered no solution. Told me to go on grubhub for my money back. VERY RUDE. After I read some of the reviews and realized I should not have ordered from them. Trying to support Black Business and this is the type of service you get.

Boyfriend and I ordered through Uber Eats, one delivery driver went to pick it up then dropped the delivery. We got another delivery driver and then a significant amount of time after we placed the order, the order was cancelled. We wasted a full hour waiting for the food JUST to have to order cancelled on us and now we’re cranky and hungry. Tried to call the restaurant and no one answered. Our order was placed at 6:30pm on a Thursday night and cancelled at 7:30pm. Can I leave lower than a one star review?

I gave this place a couple of tries. The rice is ALWAYS overcooked and the portions of oxtails is wayy too small. 3 little oxtail pieces for $9.50. This time they were dry. Im not supporting them ANYMORE. It seems like none of these jamaican restaurants are up to par. Think I'll start making my owm

I was recommended here by one of my students. It's a small Jamaican restaurant. I ordered the j*** chicken, oxtails with rice and peas and cabbage. Overall, the food was pretty good. The owner was very nice and the restaurant looked clean. I would recommend this place.
This review is for service. I didn't get to taste the food. I don't know if it tastes like manna from heaven and I NEVER will! What is wrong with our people? It was crazy!! I walked in and asked for the lunch meal with Curry chicken. The gentleman then precedes to make a plate behind the counter. When he told me the price it was different than the advertisement special. when I asked him why it was different he stated that it was because he gave me the lunch but not the lunch special? I said but I indicated that I wanted the lunch with Curry chicken. He informed me that because I had not said the word special he made me a larger meal. I explained that I did not want this. And he asked what do you want me to do make you another one? He was disgusting. Talk about lack of customer service. I ended up leaving all together and didn't buy anything. Y'all need to allow us to start doing zero stars.

** I was pretty sure I submitted this, but for some reason it came up as a draft so the following review is based on memory... I purchased a coupon from Restaurant.com for a half off order, but when I went here, they weren't honoring it (which Restaurant.com updated their site and credited me towards another purchase). Being my first venture here, I wasn't sure what I wanted and I was prepared to ask the staff person what they recommended, They were in the back of the small restaurant when I entered and music was playing giving the place that caribbean atmosphere. The only thing that is preventing me from giving it that fourth star is two things: The music was SO LOUD I could barely hear myself think, let alone what the only person in the whole restaurant was saying, there was a lot of nodding my head yes, and being hopeful that what I got was good. Secondly, and I know it is part of the way the food is prepared, with J*** Chicken, they take whatever part you order (leg/thigh... etc) and chop it up with a cleaver (yikes) which lends to lots of pieces of meat with bone still in them. As as noted above, I chose the J*** Chicken (have had it before, love it and figured it would be the basis of a good review. There were a few things said between the employee and myself, something was mumbled to me about spicy, possibly "Do you like spice" which I may have nodded my head and said "A little" well... when the person behind the counter advises you it's a little spicy.... it's A LOT of spicy (and that isn't all bad). The rice and peas were amazing (side) and honestly, the J*** Chicken was REALLY good as well. Now, if they could only turn down the radio when a customer walks in so you can hear someone. I really need to go back and try more things on the menu soon.
