This is place I actually went to recently. The bartenders are very rude as well as the owner. I was sitting at a table near the bar as a customer is calling another customer very disgusting slurs as well as a physical altercation almost starting. And nobody seemed to stop it. The food is bar food so I didn’t expect much there but over all it made the experience a bad time and can’t enjoy your meal without a an enjoyment of an atmosphere.

Came for the Bills game today and it was a great time. The wings were crispy (like we asked) and the atmosphere was spot on. They were super accommodating and we never had to wait for a drink. Highly recommend.

The server was rude and condescending. The menu is not as advertised. The server explained it was so that there could be excellent service with quality food. The food was uncooked and even cold. The nachos had unmelted cheese, the bacon was very undercooked and the burgers were raw when we asked for well done. The food was flavorless!

Was visiting Albany and staying in downtown . Was hungry and stepped out for food . Saw this place - dawns cafe ! It was just 8 pm when we went there… they just had drinks .. no food ! Can’t believe they didn’t have food ! Service was ok….
Beer on tap was good. They had blue moon and it was good . They didn’t even have some finger food … there were seats outside and some seats inside . Average place overall .. 3 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

It’s a cool place . Bartender was super nice . I had the steak Caesar . It was good . It looks like a great hangout kinda place . The wraps looked huge ! I wish I got one . Next time for sure . Definitely worth a stop
We were in town for the 2025 CrossFit Games and stumbled upon Dawn's Victory Sports Cafe, right across the street from our hotel. What started as a convenient dinner stop quickly became our go-to spot every single night of our trip!
The vibe here is unbeatable: welcoming, local, and full of charm. On our last night, we were lucky enough to meet Dawn, the owner, and it all made sense. She's incredibly friendly and clearly pours her heart into this place. We learned that most of the staff have been with her for years, and it shows in how genuinely kind and attentive everyone was.
Not only did they open on days they normally wouldn't, but they even put together a special menu just for the CrossFit crowd. That kind of thoughtfulness and flexibility is rare these days.
Every waitress and bartender we met was just the sweetest. We truly felt like part of the local crew by the end of the weekend. We're crossing our fingers that the Games return to Albany next year because we'll absolutely be back.

Dawns is my favorite. Bartenders? Amazing. Dawn? Amazing. Food? 10/10. This has been one of my favorite places for a few years now. They are beyond accommodating, they have the BESTTTT food and it’s truly a hidden gem. 🖤
